This week, I came up with something a lot more hard-hitting than some of the previous stuff I've been posting this month! I suppose it's good to have a balance of chill stuff and some more hard-hitting Future Funk bangers.
I started this track with the bass sample you hear at the beginning. The track started out being more revolved around that first sample, but eventually I realized that it wasn't really enough to revolve a whole song around. Eventually I went digging into my unused sample vault and dug up the main riff of the song! I'm really kind of amazed at how well it fits all things considered.
I suppose if you take anything away from reading this, it's to always save what you're working on. You never know when an idea from an older project might come in handy!
