Unfilmable Mini: The Substance

Personally, I wouldn't take the substance.

How far would you go to become a younger, better version of yourself? Would you give up seven days in a row? Our advice: stock up on hobbies!

Unfilmable Mini: The Substance

The Ugly Stepsister much the superior film in my opinion. Some scenes will stay with me forever.

I like this short format because it's something you wouldn't have otherwise talked about

Another recent release that hits on a lot of the same notes is The Ugly Stepsister. It’s a look at body image mixed in with the horror of Grimm fairytales and some general European weirdness.

As a PC gaming kid I played a lot of Megarace growing up, so when Lance Boyle showed up I lost my goddamn mind.

and 20 minutes!

Loved the format! I think it'll be great to hear yall chat short form in a way that let's you cover stuff you otherwise wouldn't! In the end, The Substance was picked apart everywhere when it came out. And not ever piece of media needs a full breakdown if it wont fit in yalls time slot! Can't wait to hear more!!

Jesus Christ the movie is over 2 hours? Lmao i didnt know that

Thought this format worked really well - love your other more in-depth analysis, too, but would prefer this to less/no coverage of this kind of film (e.g., something you didn’t want to watch again all the way through but still saw value in discussing). Also great movie!

Garrett Morgan

also i love and appreciate the new lil network thing of the hosts introducing with their pronouns!

i like the quick overlook format. i enjoy yalls taste in horror so im happy to get a less detailed look at something you just thought was neat. Like this episode put this movie on my to-watch list.... somewhere, eventually. I love sick body horror and heavy handed metaphors and they taste great together yum yummm

sleepysmiles

Love this! Do more!

Patric Fallon

Super happy with the format! Thanks for covering this

Loveddd the zoomed-out format of both this and Command & Conquer. While the play-by-play notes-heavy approach will always be the unique Duckfeed contribution, these are so good that I hope they become a mainstay.
