Yeah, that cool user also misgendered Kaye on their way out! Super reasonable behavior. -GB

Fight back against who though? Just finding random pretty people who are innocent isn't really fighting back. -GB

If you're born disadvantaged why shouldn't you be petty and want to fight back? "Know your place" is bullshit

In a bit of serendipity with the network, when I first decided to play as a Nosferatu at the table, my storyteller asked me what the character looked like. Despite it being a decade since I’d seen Se7en at the time, I decided that my Nosferatu would look like “Sloth from Se7en”. He then informed me that Sloth wasn’t inhuman enough. Having recently rewatched Se7en for Unfilmable reasons, I’ve given my good friend who said this a great deal of shit for claiming that Sloth was “too human”.

I'd love to introduce you to Requiem Nosferatu, they're so cool and refine a lot of the messier stuff in Masquerade (I love Masquerade's messiness but the designer in me appreciates what a tightly wound machine Requiem can be, thematically and mechanically). I made a Nosferatu character for a convention game once; from a Bloodline that's blinded by the Embrace and whose signature discipline is Mimetismo--flawless vocal mimicry and echolocation. His name was Slim Jim Centipede, technically guardian of a faction HQ in London, but also the faction's fixer. Always wearing sunglasses and a big coat over 70s-ass hippie fashions. He was very inspired by Danny the dealer from Withnail & I. He started appearing as an NPC in other people's Requiem games for a few conventions after that.
