It sure does make sense mate. Thanks for the answer ✌️ will try it hopefully tomorrow. I want to try a more blueish Grey version for the classic stormtroopers to get them a bit different. Basically the same method with cooler grey colors for the airbrush part. Hope it works out 😁

Hi Jan, I'm glad you're getting some use out of the guides! As for the Zenithal Prime, yes it is mainly for reference on this mini. The step where I sprayed Rakarth Flesh over the base color is also done in a zenithal fashion but you'll notice that it has far less contrast than the priming step. Having some pics of the black and white priming step made it easier to see where I should concentrate the Pallid Wych highlights. Of course if you're painting many clones it may be more efficient to do a single mini with the zenithal prime and prime the rest uniformly in grey or black. That way you at least have one mini to reference for highlight placement. I hope that makes sense? :)

Hey mate. Really love your tutorials. Will try this one out tomorrow. Got a lot of troops lying around here. I just wanted to ask one thing. Istn the zenithal priming with the white paint unnecessary when you basecoat the whole thing afterwards? Or is it just for reference?
