Just wanted to share with you a bunch of pictures documenting my various experiences in the past few weeks. Post-tour depression has honestly been hitting really hard! :’) I’ve been finding it quite difficult to stay positive and keep my mental health in check. After tour I needed at least a week of vocal rest, so I was inside most of the time and not socializing, which…isn’t great for me mentally. I also found out my childhood dog passed away suddenly while I was on tour, and then had a whole unexpectedly slew of personal life issues come up. So…it’s been tough. BUT I’ve been much better the past couple days and I’m really looking forward to returning back East for a little bit, and then going to Germany with my band! I get to experience so many lovely and incredible things every year (every day even), and I can’t let myself lose sight of how lucky I am to bear witness to that, and to be alive. On tour, I saw some of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever laid eyes on, andddd also some of the most grotesque! Life is full of parallels and contradictions, and I’m thrilled to be a little singing spec in the middle of it all. I hope you all have been well, truly.

Thank you for all of the updates, it has been very cool to get some behind the scenes looks at what goes on with you and the band. I hope things get better for you mentally, it sounds hard to deal with especially when you feel like you should be happy because of the things you got to do. I used to live in California and had to move for family reasons before high school, so I left some of my best friends behind. I have been able to keep in touch with them and visit almost every year since then thankfully, but leaving what feels like home every time really brings me down. There seems to always be something that eventually comes back to bring me into a slump whether it's the winters in Illinois, losing motivation for school while I was in college, not knowing what to do with my life from there, or whatever else. All of that being said, I'm doing pretty good right now, and remain optimistic that things can get better even if I still get down or have very unproductive days sometimes. Just wanted to let you know that I can relate to what you are experiencing even if the circumstances are different, and I hope you don't feel alone. It's definitely scary not knowing if or when things will get better and how things will change going forward. I appreciate you sharing your feelings with us and not pretending it's all happy and glamorous.
