Ok Goodnight’s First Europe Show/Band Retreat

I wanted to show you some pictures from my trip to Europe with Ok Goodnight. It was an absolutely incredible time, and definitely an experience I’ll never forget. We saw so many incredible things and got to talk with so many awesome people. Playing Night of the Prog was an awesome experience, but an intense one at the same time. I haven’t played original music at a festival-level show in a long time, and it definitely has a completely different vibe than the two tours we have played so far. The tour shows that we play are a lot more intimate and most everyone knows our music already, whereas at a festival show like this, only a very small percentage of the crowd actually knows who you are and you are working much harder to make a good impression during the short time slot you have in the day. I got pretty much no sleep the night before, and then we didn’t even get to soundcheck like we were supposed to, so it was definitely a hard one for me, but I just did my best to vibe out with my band mates and give as good a show as possible! After the festival in Germany, we got to go to Troyes, France for a few days to rest and explore. It was an absolutely beautiful place and I was so overjoyed to be back in France after the seven years since I had first visited. We left feeling extremely hopeful that we will not only be back in Europe to play again, but back very soon. There are so many other places we’d love to go there, including the UK, so let’s hope we can make it happen. For now, we are going to keep working on the next album!
