December 3rd Weekly Update
Added 2022-12-03 19:18:32 +0000 UTCThe big thing I wanted to mention this week was the completion of the initial cut scene.
The final (as much as it can be, there is always things to be changed as funding improves) version I'll save for later, but the above version is very close, minus some sound effects and music.
I had initially planned for this scene to be a lot longer and involve more dialogue, but feedback said it was probably a good idea to keep it brief, and let players actually play the game a little bit.
I think this version does a good job of setting up what's going on, showing off some of Meridiana's character, and leaving a bit of mystery for the player.
While I'm still writing exactly how I want to the next parts to go, I'm going to try to work on adding some more gameplay to the level I've been working on.
