Patreon situation update
Added 2024-07-07 08:06:13 +0000 UTCHello guys, I wanted to thank you for your kind words the after my crisis the other day, I was very moved by your words and your kind support.
Some of you told me you wanted to keep supporting me, and that made me think of a different route without having to eliminate subscriptions.
I am still going to freeze the billings for a couple of months until I have decided what to do, so you are going to be able to keep seeing my content if you keep your suscription active, but you won't be charged.
CHANGE: I'll do as I told you with the posts until I open the billings again, they will be available for everybody in case you already changed your subscription.
This way, I won't eliminate subscriptions. I'll keep them on stand by for now, but they definitely will get a rework when I activate them again.
So, I take this opportunity to ask you all which advantages or rewards you would like me to include. I know some creators have a discord community with their patrons to connect vía voice chat or even private video call, along with other stuff, but I would like to hear your opinion.

I don't know what I'm missing here... I'm new to this medium and wanted to subscribe today and wondered, why it didn't work. At least I now know why. I discovered your art not long ago (by some yt comic dubs) and I was instantly captivated by your style and wanted to follow you, so I re-activated my twitter/ X acc and finally decided to give this patreon thing a chance 😅 (I'm not much into any kind of social media and all). Whatever the issue, I agree with other opinions saying: your health comes first! So take your time, never mind how long it takes. I'd be happy to subscribe whenever it's possible again 😊

I love the idea of a discord server personally, but managing one of those unless you try to keep it really small can end up being a lot of work itself. (Small focused communities are where discord is at it's best) I know you offer merch bundles currently as a reward, I like this idea too but could also imagine trying to organize sort through it on your own could be time consuming (why most folks open their merch shops for windows instead of keeping them open all the time). If you stopped doing them it would not bother me. You mentioned the pacing of your artwork as being a concern with regard to patreon, your patreon releases significantly more content than just about any one else I've ever subbed to. It wouldn’t bother me in the slightest if you relaxed the frequency of updates, took regular patreon breaks (like this one), or shifted it to be more of a digital storefront (all the comic packs you have for example). Most importantly thank you for communicating openly with us about it!

Hopefully you can find a balance between taking care of yourself and continuing to create and share your beautiful art. I'm a firm believer that art is good for the soul, but I also understand there can be pressure to produce it especially with money on the line. Please take all the time you need, your health comes first and foremost!

If were able to talk w/ you at times than that is amazing too but we wouldnt want you stressing out about responding to all the responses. Basically if something pops in your head down the road than we will encourage and back you up on it otherwise if nothing than dont fret ^^ as we are here for the amazing talented ride and feel elated to be apart and joining your adventure!
