2022-11-29 12:50:04 +0000 UTCThere's quite a lot happening in the chapters around this time so I'm not perfectly sure what part you are referring to and if I forgot to include it or if it was described somewhat differently or later.

2022-07-05 03:01:16 +0000 UTCInteresting point, but I don’t think is something that is set in stone. Besides, AST may be the nominal head/heir to the family but he doesn't really seem to have much interest or talent with commerce. That is more his mothers thing. In reality, Kindra is really the ones that is taking over the responsibilities of the heir as her parent are passing most of the responsibilities for the house to her.

2022-06-17 16:35:30 +0000 UTCThat is a very good point. The king is making sure there won’t be any problems with the nobility if Asterios and Silvia get engaged/married.

2022-06-17 16:29:55 +0000 UTCWhile castles are forts, castle towns aren't always that way. Often, they began as front line defences and became training and recruitment areas. Sometimes the castle was built in an area that never faced risk but was on such a critical trade route or border that some ruler felt it was needed. Other times they were built as a show of power to prevent future conflicts.

2022-05-09 01:11:05 +0000 UTCwait why did I wait so long to read this, a castle what holy crap

2022-05-08 23:42:13 +0000 UTCCastles are military forts, being given one is a round-about way of being ordered to defend that area using your own resources instead of the kingdoms. Not really a reward.

2022-05-08 20:54:11 +0000 UTCMaybe. Who knows. If that will be possible then maybe at some point.

2022-05-08 09:47:36 +0000 UTCThey had originally mentioned that with his marriage to Tina, she would have the title, and that he had some way of not being (or maybe just not having the responsibilities associated with) the npbility. The new territory could be placed in Tina's name, and that would allow her sister to inherit the family's title.

2022-05-08 00:35:17 +0000 UTCAre we going to visit Esil’s world eventually ? And I guess he will be going to Byne’s realm to help?

2022-05-07 13:52:45 +0000 UTCPretty much. He is able to communicate with them if they deepen the connecting with Tina enough or she consciously shares their mental conversations with him.
Saileri
2022-05-07 11:14:10 +0000 UTCHe does not have a mental connection with his summon's summons.

2022-05-07 10:00:29 +0000 UTCClever King Welrond! A power like Ast running around with no ties to the kingdom other than his friends? That's a political disaster waiting to happen. Given him an appropriate title, though, and even if he doesn't end up marrying the princess, it binds the families more closely together and creates a structure around things. Additionally, given Ast's nature, it helps anchor him more strongly to the kingdom thanks to his sense of responsibility. It will be interesting to see how that ties in with his Hestizo ties, though. Can't wait to see how this all goes next!

2022-05-07 04:11:25 +0000 UTCThat is an awesome point! I’d’ve let that slip by. Thanks!!! 🖖
2022-05-07 02:43:46 +0000 UTCOh god! He didn’t get a new ride, but got a castle and a title. But we know the king did that so his daughter could get involved with a noble. Awesome chapter.

2022-05-07 00:42:34 +0000 UTCAlso doesn’t ast’s Family have a long-standing tradition of declining titles of nobility? He’s now the de facto heir of the hestizo bloodline. I wonder how that’s going to pan out.

2022-05-07 00:39:31 +0000 UTCAwesome. The king of a tribe of WINGED beasts now has access to the Valkyrja realm! So much possibility there!
