“Mmhmm,” A fire was created, and Jack butchered the boar. It wasn't as precise as Keith, but it was more than enough to get out the good stuff. Grilled boar meat was enough for all of them. Should have brought some salt with me. Remembering how Keith brought seasoning, it would be perfect. 

The same could be said for Coen and the others. However, they continued to gorge on the meat. Fill their stomachs up and screw the taste! 

“For starters, let’s get this discussion going. We have a solid lineup, but we’ll need a leader to give us orders. Does anyone have a suggestion?”

“I want to do it!” One of the students raised his hand. 

"...Umm, have you had any leadership experience?" Another student added. 

"No, but I feel I could do it!" 

"I don't want anyone without experience to lead us." It was not about giving the person a chance. This was a final. If anything happened, they might even get expelled as well. It was something that no one wanted.

"..." Hearing this, the others went silent. 

Jack added, “To be honest, Coen, I want you to do it.”

“Are you saying I’m worse than-” “Yes, you’re worse than him.” That was when a bear beastman replied. It was frank and kurt.

 “He’s better than all of us here and was one reason why F-class had beaten us.” A couple of major people became well-known due to this: Keith and Muriel were obvious ones. 

Coen was the third since he was the representative there. His leadership was shown throughout the class as well since he assisted whenever he could. 

“I’m fine with Coen being the leader.” Helm smiled. 

“I thought that Jack would be the one?”

“Nope, I’m not interested.” Instant denied. The other students nodded in agreement. Coen was the only one who had a track record and experience in leading. 

"Okay, then I will be the leader. For starters, let's gather some supplies before we start off hunting." Supplies were something that mattered. The boar and bear monster wouldn't sustain them for the entire week. They would probably finish it in a day. 

“Before that, I think we need to take care of a little matter.” Jack held his handle as his eyes narrowed. 

“Hmm?”

There was no need to say anything as the wolves slowly came out of hiding, all of them staring at them like fresh pieces of meat. Jack raised his blade and quickly stated, “We’re going to fight them. Make sure that they don’t kill our horses!” 

That was when they fought against all the monsters that came after them. It was quite a ferocious fight as the wolves approached them with coordinated attacks. 

"Damn!" A student got one of his legs bitten. That caused Jack to jump forth to cut its head off. 

"Keep calm! There's no need for you to be frazzled. These guys are coordinated, but they're weak."

"U-understood." 

Jack continued to step forward. Now! With one motion, he sliced down three wolves before him. 

Everyone continued to fight with them before they took a deep breath. Coen nodded, “Good job everyone. Rest up; we’re going to be heading out.” It was time for them to move again. 

“Where are we going to go?” 

“Somewhere, there are fewer monsters,” Coen decided, “If we continue forward with this, then we need to rest and then fight again. We’ll need to use it as much as possible.” Rest and the others were definitely the key to all of this. 

“Understood.” 

“Yeah!”

“This is getting interesting.” The demon instructor and the others stared at the situation unfolding. Frankly, it was one of the more interesting things going on with the other students. Some students teamed up with one another, but it led to arguments between them. 

"It's because Jack is a solid presence on the team." Jack was in A-class while the others were in C-class or lower. That alone forced the others to listen to what he had to say. 

"The pace they're going is quite fast as well." As they went out and took some rest, that was what they were going to be talking about. Rest was quite necessary. But while they were doing that,
