The fact that Maple realizes it's just a game and is meant to be played and have fun with friends is one of her biggest strengths, outside of her wacky defense stat ha. I believe that's another big draw of why this show is so good to me, Maple is such a pure character with good intentions all around.

She just has fun and makes friends. Even ones that nearly defeat her. She doesn't care if they find out something about her stats or anything like that because she now has more friends and they can have fun together. So that is why that scene makes me giggle whenever I see it. Now season 2 of Bofuri. There are still more surprises in store for you both.

Plus, it's always fun to watch the kind of skills Maple unlocks.

If we got info that he has played since the start, sure I could see them changing how people get it but letting whoever got it keep it. But no. He just, has it.
