Yes that is john McLaughlin in the video. They hve a band together with john, Viku (the ghatam player in the video), ustadji Zakir Hussain, violin player L.Shankar. Current members being Shankar Mahadevan, V Selvaganesh (son of the ghatam player viku) and Ganesh Rajagopaan. The band shakti won grammy award for the best global music album “this moment” in 2024
