My face hurts from smiling while watching you guys watch this. This was the first Bollywood movie I remember watching as a kid and it holds such a special place in my heart! Thank you for loving it as much as we all do!!

Kermeka Desai

I never knew that -- what a cool piece of trivia!❤️

Vrithika

Easily the best watchalong ever 😍😍

I'll never forget the happiness I felt when I found out that Tuffy aka the actual dog name Redo was adopted by Madhuri after this movie was released, Apparently he passed away in 2000 around the age of 12 💔

I’m so glad you guys enjoyed this, cuz it’s one of those movies that always puts a smile on my face. I watched it in theaters as a kid and it was THE biggest movie and game changer of its time. I’m glad you went in with an open mind and embraced it for what it is.

Watch Parinda next (not family drama at all) but gritty real with Anil Kapoor , Nana Patekar directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra (12th Fail)

I think at this time Madhuri got paid more than Salmaan in this movie.. And Tuffy was real star on the sets.. Many schedules were timed around him

You have to watch Hum Saath Saath Hain. It's is extremely similar to this and a fun time. Same mindset. I think it has one of the best wardrobes in an Indian film ever, it really demonstrates how extended families are in Indian culture. I think It's my favorite Bollywood film ever, and I take my ranks as seriously as you guys, been following you guys forever, I was born in India but have grown up in the states. Your channel reminds me of home, thank you for the content :)

Could you please react on some more films with Madhuri Dixit? Beta, Raja, Prem Granth, Aarzoo, Pukar, and Tumhare Hain Sanam. But you have to watch them with the same attitude as Hum Aapke hain koun.

Saajan was a big hit as well. Not as big as Hum Aapke hain koun but a big Hit as well

Madhuri Dixit is called the Queen of Bollywood for a Reason. I absolutely love her and i think she can Do everything and every role she did she was perfect in.

I love this movie. Its such a feel good movie with characters who are nice, innocent, honest and there is so much goodness. It hardly has a plot but what drives this movie is the feel good factor which makes you smile and inspires you to become a better person.

The film was released without the Chocolate Lime Juice song at first. Aditya Chopra watched it as Sooraj B has said but before it was released and then it was added back in once the film became a hit. This has been done in several films in the 90s. Another one is Madhuri-Aamir starrer, Dil.

Korbin that was dream when they were switching girls in the kitchen 😄

By the way Korbin - your titbit on the "Chocolate Lime Juice" song was wrong and not sure who gave that to you. The song was part of the film when it first released. It then was removed from the film due to length concerns (also along with the "Mujhse Juda Hoker" song which comes after Madhuri has to return home). But then, it was re-added back into the film on popular demand (only the "Chocolate Lime Juice" one). Many DVD/streaming versions of the film didnt retain this song and I hear some did. Also a popular trivia (confirmed by Sooraj Barjatya himself) is that Aditya Chopra (director of DDLJ, son of Yash Chopra) watched HAHK and asked Sooraj to cut out two songs in order for the film to run well. And Sooraj took out Chocolate Lime Juice and Mujhse Juda Hoker.
