What can I do more of here/in general?
Added 2025-12-01 21:07:30 +0000 UTCHey ya'll, so the last few months have been pretty busy with commissions and freelance to stay afloat - but honestly if I had a choice in the matter I would prefer to create a satisfying enough stream of Patreon content to live off of this predominantly. I want to really overhaul this thing in 2026 as best I can to give people a real reason to come to this thing, so I figure I'd ask ya'll--
What would you personally like for me to do more of here?
What type of content would you like from me in general? Streaming? Q & As? More simple stuff like animatics? Video talks and such?
Feel free to comment on any of that question vomit if you have opinions.
Despite all the comms and freelance, I definitely have kept working on the Punk Ass pilot, but I animated all the stuff central to the plot of a pretty short film and don't want to spoil all the little things I'm hoping that'll make it hit. That sort of resulted in me just not posting updates as frequently as I would like. I don't think just WIPs is enough.
Some shit I'm thinking of getting into in 2026:
Monthly Q&As for Patrons, where I'd post a video here talking about topics you guys are interested in or answering questions about my work.
Returning to weekly Twitch streaming, working on my personal projects. Maybe gaming solo or with artist friends and discussing broader art/creativity topics.
Merch. Prints, stickers, shirts, zines, figures and plushes when I'm feeling real cocky. (Sound off what you want if you want something lol)
Weekly updates even if small.
Monthly content, even if just a short animatic or music track. Cannot confirm if doable, but strongly considering.
My goal for 2026 is to be doing enough to grow this thing to $1k per month, the operative idea being DOING ENOUGH to justify 10% of my Twitter/Youtube/Bsky followers letting my broke ass have a dollar every month. Open to a discussion on the matter for Patreon power-users who really know some shit, because I patron several guys whose work I love and almost never look at what they're posting on here lol

I really like your original characters so just seeing them in different situations or images would be cool! For example, if the Dumpster Fire trio was just lounging in their kitchen in their underwear (or less😏😆) drinking beers or sitting round a campfire. The pin-ups could even just be sketches. I just wanna see more of your characters, animated or not.

2025-12-03 02:10:38 +0000 UTCAs someone who definitely supports a lot of artists, here’s some things I’ve noticed that people really enjoy Monthly polls: Some patreons I follow do a monthly poll on something they’d like to draw for everyone. Some gather suggestions from the patreons while others give em 4 options of stuff they’d like to draw but never have the time for Character Q&As: This is something I’ve always enjoyed. Not just from you yourself but having your characters answer questions is always a fun time. You can either have a free for all or each month do something fun like “ask Ian questions this month or next month ask Orehoof questions etc” and they can just be simple sketches as well, don’t even have to be anything super deep people love that Rhoulette sketch: you can either depending on your time and energy have a random Patreon get a request drawn each month or even have a tier of people who get an art piece drawn every month, your choice of course and you can set or decide the level of completion of the drawing depending on what you charge or just wing it Those are 3 examples of stuff I know I sure love as well as others, but even if it ain’t none of that and you just do the suggestions you brought up I’d have so much fun and be even happier to support ya
