Portfolio that got me HIRED

HEY GUYS!

I just moved to Arizona from Colorado two weeks ago, and while I was unpacking my office stuff I found the hard drive that held the files for this portfolio that got me so many projects.

Back in 2014 it felt like I cracked the code. As many of you may know I got hired for some of my first Childrens books and illustration projects in 2014 and I owe a lot of it to this little portfolio.

Back then I didn’t really have a lot of comic book work under my belt, but I did have a lot of finished illustrations that catered to the illustration / Childrens demographics. Little did I know that this portfolio also catered to the mobile game industry and commercial illustration industry.

These few illustrations were enough to peak the interest of recruiters on Linkedin and writers and game developers in various Facebook groups. I would post these few images 3 times a week in these Facebook groups and consistently get hired for projects that ranged from $300 - $8,000 per illustration project.

This portfolio was one of the things that helped me open my eyes to the possibility of becoming a full time artist.

It doesn’t necessarily teach you how to draw or bring the clients directly to your front door, but it does give you a good pathway and template to what will get the attention of people that hire artists.

Please feel free to use these files. You can copy the layout I used, copy the text I used…hell…you can even use the same composition and style of illustration. I WANT YOU TO SUCCEED the same way I did.
