I just finished up at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh where I saw lots of friends and fans from previous shows. It’s so great to run into people I know, especially at such an exclusive show. Steel City Con is an invite only show and I was honored to be invited again as a guest artist.
Unfortunately, our rental car crapped out on us on the way to the show and left us stranded at a Texas Roadhouse. On the other hand, it was fortunate to be stranded at a Texas Roadhouse; those rolls are so damn good!
I don’t always see celebrities at shows but I ran into quite a few in Pittsburgh. Had an encounter with Danny Trejo, an elevator ride with Paula Abdul, and a hotel lobby sighting of John Carpenter! Do any of you have a crazy celebrity encounter story? Leave a comment with your story, I’d love to hear them.
This is my 8th week in a row of traveling for comic cons and I’m so ready for a break so I can draw more. There is no rest in sight though…Today I am preparing for the upcoming Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle. I love this con because it's a huge ReedPop show that lasts for 4 days!
