Update

So... About my "I'm gonna post two chapters this week." I said before.

Remember when I said winter hadn't decided whether to stay or go? Well it snowed the day I posted, and it snowed heavily, so I had to work that whole day on that mess.

and THEN, a warm front came in and melted all that snow, but it also rained. So much that it was actually causing some minor flooding, and the winds were up to 30/48+ MPH/KPH, and knocked down trees. I was frightened because some of these trees were pretty much ready to go and smash a ton of things, plus the next door neighbor's house.

It hasn't happened thankfully, but that didn't stop the power being cut to the whole of the Mat-Su borough/county. The power company here determines who gets power back first based on numbers. The more people who are out in an area, the faster they get it back. Given where I live has only 297 households, of which there was 100% power loss, compared to "Knik Goose Bay" 5000+, of which over half lost power, it was gonna be awhile for me.

The power was out for 14+ hours for the people who got it back first. Me? It just came back on a bit ago, and it has been 18+ hours for me personally.

On top of that, I have tents for storage that the wind moved despite being anchored in some way, doing hundreds of dollars in damages to various items. Two cabinets I got from Lowes are completely destroyed, and these things were $550 and $750 respectively.

So, while I am sorry for not posting as I said I would...I had to deal with some shit :P

The chapter in question is 1/4th of the way done though so I will get to it later.

No worries, I just find it funny so many authors tend to make plans in the best of intentions, only for Murphy to drop by for a beer... or two... or dozens. Chief: Get off my couch. Murphy: Who are you? Did I get married again? Are you out of beer? Chief: Yes? Murphy: Well, I'm gone, call me when you have those divorce papers ready and I'll swing by to sign them. Chief: Call you ho- Murphy: BYE!
