Update - New Stories and Family

Good News first.

After some hard work, I managed to actually recover my lost data. Took taking a standard HD apart and reworking it, but I managed to pull my user data from it, so I am back on. I have been working to combine what I have written so far with what I had written prior to the dead computer.

I also will be posting a few chapters for other stories before the end of this month.

Bad and Good News. My Father had a stroke last night. It was a piece of plaque in his arteries breaking loose that caused it. Fortunately, he had been taking Aspirin, and a blood pressure medicine that prevents platelets in blood from sticking and making a clot on the Plaque. That on top of my driving him to the hospital immediately, and getting injected with medicine within the hour of it all happening, it saved his life with little to no complications/permanent damage.

My thoughts: For fucks sake. Is there anything else Life? Anything more to add onto the plate?

Anyways...

Stories: I've been working on a new SI, but this one will be different due to the setting. It will be the first one I've ever heard of, and my first foray into a more serious setting/story.

It's called "Lullaby of Distant Thunder". It's set in Armor Trooper Votoms. 

If you don't know anything about the setting/story, I seriously suggest watching it because it's the reason anime/games like "Heavy Gear" and "Code Geass" even exist. It was more or less inspired by Heinlein's "Starship Troopers" to give you an idea of what to expect.

As for the story itself...

"The One Hundred Year War rages on. Man and Machine are thrown into battle, easily lost and replaced by a system gear for total war. Like so many men before him, Thomas Kull was drafted into fighting an seemingly unending war. However, Thomas had a secret. He was not from this universe. He came from a world where this one was a fiction. He knew what was truly happening in the grand scheme, who the players were, and what the end game was. Using his knowledge, he fights hard to stay alive so that he can make it to the end, and possibly return home. The question is, will the universe let him?"

This story is a bit of a passion project since Votoms is one of my favorite animes off all time. Next to Gundam and Space Dandy.
