Failure
Added 2022-08-28 13:47:22 +0000 UTCMy failure as a creator has led to more or less almost all of you, my patrons leaving this behind. I don't blame them. There's no real excuse for my lack of work or many months of hiatus aside from the spiel of "Life got hard" and "Schedule conflicts" and so on.
That said, I am picking things back up again, though I must say the following.
For all who read this now and into the future, you do not need to be a patron. Most of my works will go public eventually. All being a patron gets you is early access, and some options if asked.
I don't want people wasting their money on something if they don't feel they will get what they pay for as a result of my irresponsibility. I can only say I will continue to try despite myself.
That said, I have a few chapters.
Claptrap, and a new story.
I will post the new story here first and then on Spacebattles once I reach five chapters for it.
It's something not serious. something to get back into the swing of things.

While a heads-up before going on walkabout would have been preferable that is life and that's fine it has to take precedence, you say that you're going to do better and I believe you, from what you have shared both here and on SB you seem like a good person far better than me at any rate. Look I'm really bad at this and I'm even worse over text, just please don't push so hard that this goes from being something that you enjoy doing and becomes just another chore, you may not be another Hiver in quantity but in my personal opinion you far outstrip him/her/they in quality. I hope that made sense.

All because things got busy, complicated, and then I got burned out from it all, and didn't at least "say something about it" to the people who are actually paying me to make things? Nah. I was irresponsible. All I can say is "I'll do better". Plus with this economic crunch we're now under, this is a luxury when it comes down to it, so don't pay more than you want to, if at all. I don't want people to feel like their burning their money for nothing if they find my output unsatisfactory.
