2021-03-31 07:42:34 +0000 UTCUnlike with Negan, this show doesn't whitewash Walter's actions or make him seem like this sympathetic or misunderstood character (Walter hasn't done anything as disgusting as what Negan did so far either). This show is all about choices and the consequences of those choices. Walt stands by all the choices he made no matter what the outcome may end up being. Now don't get me wrong, Walter does have redeeming qualities (like his connection to Jesse and his family) but those just make him more realistic and human rather than "sympathetic". Walter is how you should write a villain. Understandable, but not excusable.
