All the inner conflicts and conflicts between the characters have a follow up and a conclusion, even if it takes a lot of time (some things haven’t even been animated yet). I just feel a lot of love for this series and how the mangaka truly loves and cares for all the characters 🥰

Plus, this feeling is just so human, ofc he's gonna see this talented boy as the threat when him himself works so hard to have this spot... It's what make him a good character, especially when we see him grew up from there.

Even though he can act a bit like a jerk he never underestimate the others teams. He knows he's good at what he does which doesn't mean that he's full of himself. He works very hard to be where he is, it's not like he's just there doing nothing and thinking that he's the best. And he doesn't think that he is lol. He's decent dude, you can dislike him because of the way he acts sure, but it's totally understandable why people love him.

It's like people fall for his fake narcisistic charm irl just like the students in the show even though we the audience know he's full of it. I guess thats what good writing does though.
