Big News and Free Shit!

Happy October, folks! And a Happy Fapp Friday while we’re at it!

This month I’m ready to announce some upcoming improvements to this Patreon. While at this point many Patreons are starting to scale back or shut down, the Fapp Patreon is instead getting ready to double its output!

Three-Month Cycle

Previously we’ve been shooting for releasing one new Fapp expansion every six months. While we still feel that’s a good pace that gives us enough time to gather up all our requisite art and keep in contact with patrons to see what they wanted added to the books, that long silence between communications feels awfully barren. Starting right now, were debuting a new set of (FREE) releases that will be spaced out in the gaps between each expansion.

Fappfinder

This month’s (completely FREE) release is a Pathfinder supplement, hereby dubbed ‘Fappfinder’ that blends the rules Pathfinder with the themes of Fapp, featuring new classes and mechanics that offer a deeper mechanical progression for erotic campaigns. You can download the first version of Fappfinder here. Keep in mind, this is the first draft of these rules, so expect mechanical (spelling/grammar) and balance fixes to crop up in later versions.

Visual Novels

Following the release of Ass Effect in December, we’ll be filling the gaps between expansions with chapters of Fapp-based Visual Novels, starting with Rotgut Rampage Redux! Based on the campaign features in the Fapp Core Rulebook, this adventure follows the exploits of a young skunk thrust into the perils of countless erotic escapades, using his ability to briefly rewind time to try and overcome encounters by learning from his repeated, overwhelmingly lewd bad endings.

Release Schedule

With the new three-month release cycle, here’s what you can expect to see released next year.

• March: Visual Novel Chapter
• June: Fapp Expansion (As voted in December 2015)
• September: Visual Novel Chapter
• December: Fapp Expansion (As voted in June 2016)

Billing

So here’s where we get to the best part. These extra VN releases that are heading your way? They’re all completely FREE. Patrons won't be charged when new VN chapters are released, only when Expansions debut. These VN chapters are free for all to enjoy. However, if you want to help support these releases and fund pictures for more characters and scenes, you can become a Fapp Patron since that helps fund both projects. Pretty much 100% of what we make on Patreon (and to be honest, usually a good bit more than that) is spent on art for these releases, which you will see used in the Visual Novels after their initial appearances in the Fapp Expansions.

Reserve Slots

Furthermore, as we explore more settings with the Fapp Expansions, we realize that some backers may want to save their Champion slots for later releases. Now that’s officially on the table. If you back this Patreon at the Champion tier and grab yourself a slot to have a character or monster of your choice added to a Fapp Expansion, you can choose reserve this slot for a future book of your choice, or bring that character over into a VN Chapter instead. That’s right, now backers will have the opportunity to show up directly in Fapp-related VN adventures in addition to the books themselves! Each time we gear up for a new release (Expansion or VN Chapter), we’ll send out reminders to patrons that have unused Champion slots, to see if they want to hop in to the next release, or keep waiting for a future venture. Remember, you can save up multiple slots for a single release. You can even grab multiple at once if you back at the Champion level in increments of $50.

Ass Effect: Patron Rewards

Later tonight we'll be making a new poll available for patrons to vote on our next Expansion after Ass Effect, and publish the form to allow Champion-tier patrons to submit their character designs for Ass Effect itself.
