Added 2016-04-02 02:01:35 +0000 UTCSo it looks like the VN library i use is having some issues with its standalone .EXE counterpart at the moment, causing crashes for some users even in the very first battle!
Until issues with the standalone version are ironed out, feel free to check out the Web Version of Rotgut Rampage Redux (chome-only)! Keep in mind this is hosted on a dinky old server of mine, so loading can be a bit slow!

Yup! Chapter 2 will have full encounters with all characters in town (including over a dozen you haven't met yet).

2016-04-04 02:50:32 +0000 UTCYeah, it's a bandwidth issue. When you reach the end of a scene, it reloads the current one if my dinky little server fails to feed you the next scene fast enough. keep an eye out for the updated standalone EXE release in a few days, that'll be taken care of!

2016-04-02 23:51:17 +0000 UTCI'm stuck in an endless loop where I try to leave Bola's shop and it just loads the encounter again. This is after numerous resets so I am not sure it is a bandwidth thing
2016-04-02 20:33:09 +0000 UTCSo it sounds like what's happening here is a bandwidth issue. You guys are finishing the first scene with frank, and when it tries to load the next scene, it hits the dinky little server's bandwidth cap and fails to load it quick enough, so it just reloads the first scene again. Once I manage to get the standalone executable version out, that won't be a problem since everything will be loaded all at once.
