The Patreon campaign for Fapp: Hyper Space is underway!

Remaining one of the few sapient species in the known galaxy to stay independent of Consortium influence, the beautiful bombshells native to the distant system of Terebellum have carved out a peaceful refuge for themselves amongst the stars. Having long since fully colonized their home system, the advanced species now largely lives in harmony, exploring space both outer and inner as they make great strides in debating philosophy at home and xenobiology abroad. Though accomplished as a species, individual Terebellums are prone to fits of hyper-focus towards a single subject and forgetfulness regarding all others, especially when aroused.
Though their species is fully capable of reproducing with one another, the tripods enjoy indulging in the unique anatomies of other species. These hermaphroditic creatures produce and fertilize their own eggs asexually, storing them as additional testicles until they discover a mate they wish to incubate the egg within. Their instincts guide them to seek out unique and exotic mates for this purpose, typically only depositing a single egg in each, after which the thin membrane of the egg will absorb a portion of the host’s DNA to incorporate into itself while growing within them.
Because of their unique method of conception, Terebellums lack vaginas, instead incubating eggs in their anal cavities when procreating with one another. Since they are so much taller than most other sapient species, they tend to find others quite cute and will dote upon them as they attempt to woo them into mating and housing their eggs.
Though possessed of limited psychic capabilities, Terebellums can only pass simple messages this way, often communicating simple emotions or reactions to accompany their speech. Their long, extremely flexible tongues afford their native language a large number of sounds many species are not capable of, and because the muscles that allow them to extend their tongues so far are rooted so close to their gonads, their tongues have evolved into erogenous organs that they simply love to employ in romantic encounters.
Because Terebellums rely partially on photosynthesis, they find clothing to be excessively stuffy and uncomfortable, and are almost exclusively Nudists. They’re prone to forgetting other species’ clothing preferences and hurriedly stripping them bare to let the poor things air out and ‘breathe’ better.
