R[e]volution Bonus/Preview Ch. 8, 1-3 / 4

(I'm just getting used to making posts, so let's see how the formatting works out...)

I've spent this week getting the next comic update ready, so I'll share the artwork for page 4 with you guys. (Guess who discovered multiple foliage brushes? Yeah, shut up.)

I've also started working on sketches for you $10 patrons. If you haven't told me what you want for September yet, don't forget to send me a message!

And the bonus:

For making comics, the next thing to happen after writing the script (and that whole thing's well and done, aside from punch-ups as I go along) is drawing thumbnails to lay out the pages. I've sometimes had people from the chupapology department do this job (JunoDagger/SpoonyAzul did much of chapter 6--her sense of humor is great stuff), and it's always a fun chance to jump the script and throw in more gag lines and visual jokes. I don't always stick to the thumbnails once I get into Blender and start rendering, but they're always a handy guide through the whole process.

Chapter 8 is unique from previous chapters, in that the thumbnails were all drawn in pencil on computer paper I took from work (don't tell my boss, eh?)
