WIP 180613

We're gonna test lots of things today~

First up is drivers--in Blender, that is. A driver, very basically put, is a script that controls an object's property with another object's property. This sounds really simple, but it's also very powerful and endlessly useful, if you can figure out the variables and expressions. At any rate, I used the most basic drivers you can get to make these wheels turn on their x-axis when the stroller is displaced on its local y-axis:

Neat.

Otherwise, I'm disappointed in my progress the past two weeks. It's been really tough getting any work done in the evenings, which is when I've committed to draw comics. My job, my family and the contractors tearing up my house with repairs (oh hey, finally got my ceiling back after Harvey) think my time's best spent elsewhere--but those're just excuses, I guess. I can hope and pray my schedule'll clear up, or just force the time in somewhere. I'm an adult in charge of my own destiny, sometimes.

I am happy I've been able to produce "GiFridays" and "Ask Docs" every week, though I wonder if trying to do both is also cutting into my comic-time. And let's be fair: if I owe you guys anything, it's more comics. But I'd like to hear what y'all think, as well! So let's test out this poll feature, too.

For my monthly schedule: how often should I post "Ask Doc"s and "GiFriday"s?
