ReVoB: 9-29

RvB's always given interesting treatment to character names. The last-name basis for most characters is a product of the military setting, of course, and even then shortcuts and nicknames abound ("Doc," for instance, was forced on Medical Officer Dufrense almost immediately in season 2.) One of my favorite season 3 jokes pokes fun at the fact that Church never learned Tucker's full name after years of being stationed together. And then it took ten seasons after Kaikaina Grif was introduced for her first name to even be uttered out loud in an episode. Names are funny things, indeed.

It's her special talent! Must be the same one that let her survive falling in a frozen lake and staying under for two hours.

I notice she was a lot better at getting out of that situation more unscathed than the guys.

Gwahaha, bless that Slowpoke. And bless you for building your crazy-ass story around my crazy-ass story. I, personally, would love to see your take on Sister! (And and and bless poor Tucker, who truly doesn't know what he's getting into.)

I, admittedly, completely forgot Sister's real name. Also, semi-related true story...I have a Slowpoke I nicknamed "Sister" in the Pokemon game I'm running right now. It felt appropriate? Okay maybe not. Either way, always good to get back to the bad jokes and worse implications that make our lovable Revo boys (and now girl) so addictive. I look forward to seeing this group develop, if they stick together. I think I plan on trying to work this whole scene in, albeit with some interloper alterations, and it's mighty helpful to see how you depict Sis. (Also, re: the comment above...we'll see about making Tucker cross the homo line...WE'LL SEE.)
