Timing that good only happens in the sitcoms, eh It is *so very fun*, I'm glad you dig their rapport. The "we need to talk about your bitch of a girlfriend" talk is never an easy one, but under a tempered friendship it just might go off without hurt feelings. ...In this case, CT prefers to hurt him physically. I guess she takes "fight for your man" to another level.

Heh, I think my favorite bit, though, is CT noting he lets his guard down around her and then she's in the doorway and LOOK AT THE FACE well well well if it isn't the consequences of my very own actions . Someone's 'bout to get proved. More great choreography, tho -- love you alternating between the wide shots and the face-zooms. I still adore their candidness, too. I have an especially soft spot for it when it comes to friends discussing relationships, ESPECIALLY EVEN MORE when one of 'em is against it. You get to play with all kinds of verbal sparring and decide just how much someone cares about someone else, how far their willing to go to defend them (and in turn, how not just the rest of the world sees 'em, but someone who's close to them and who *probably knows* when Wash is actually happy or when he's just pretending he is for the sake of defending Tex) CT is a great fill for that role, she handles Wash and his bullshit with aplomb. Doesn't just roll over him, but also doesn't let him slide past just 'cause she's a friend.
