Aww thankee much - I'm happy the expressions caught notice. Whenever I can exploit the visual side of comic media, I'ma hella try. It IS hella interesting, agreed, even if trying to imagine all the finer details of rebel-management is a headache. (lawdy gotta add "dongpuss" to the Swear Bank, don't I)

They're spot-on, just get it right on the nose, I think. I love it. A mix of exhaustion and beaten-down-ness. York's a great counter-face, too. That annoyed-but-trying-to-be-positive note ya dropped in your last reply. But then also his bit of a droop in the last panel. No matter how South was regarded, she was still one of them, and that always stings to lose a brother/sister-in-arms. I do definitely sympathize with Wash. For all the shit he gets and for all the times he acts like a complete dongpuss, he *does* take the lion's share of the less-than-fun things. And I'm sure he puts his heart and soul into it. (even if he can't write legibly) I really look forward to exploring this side of things if the opportunity arises. It's not main-plot-line stuff, but it's still really fuckin' interesting and strikes a lot of introspective notes on the nature of this whole thing behind-the-scenes, since it ain't all fun jokes and over-the-top-comedy-combat.
