Oops you guys brought a werewolf to a gun fight didn't you
Comments
:HEE: Reminds me of the best stupid thing I heard on an RvB commentary, a joke from Burnie Burns: "Looks like someone brought a John Hughes script to a gun fight."
Speaking of RvB refs, glad you appreciate the weird half-face Director shots. It's almost silly out of context but still looks weirdly fitting, for the guy and the situation.
Ahaha yeah, Wash didn't even make a good call to *bring York here instead of CT* and his speeches need work, too.
Lawdy though, poor pup indeed. He's gon' feel like shit for eight different reasons, we gotta brace ourselfs for that fallout.

godfuckingfuck
AHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm *hgnnnnnnnnnnnngh* god DAMMIT.
I'm fine, everything's fine. A: fuck *you* for werewolf to a gunfight, lmao
B: Lawd where even remotely to begin. This is just fantastic. I KNOW, I know, it's no surprise, knew this was coming, etc., etc. But mang, still hits like a fawkin' train. Heh, your casual no-face on Director is played well -- it's not like...it's a SHOCK, but you still manage to do it subtly. I like it.
I'll refrain from talking about tiny dicks and bolo ties and *the Counselor's flat head* can't wait to punch it but I WILL mention that your lighting *still* owns. Great blue highlights abound :allears: Sets such a damn nice feel for the room.
Like, I LOVE Wash's face in panel 3, I truly do. I love his line, too. But god *dammit* pine cone, you couldn't have been more goddamn ironic. I know you guys aren't USING the werewolf abilities but *still* just *ugh* so upset, so damn upset.
York 'n Wash steal the show here. Wash's face between 6 and 7, fucking *astouding*, including the dramatic angle and perspective you used. NICE goddamn foreshortening on Wash in that final panel, lawd almighty, his legs 'n paws look just fuckin' great, add so much depth. The way the D 'n C are already turning to walk out in the background a nice detail.
AND OF COURSE, our pup. Ugh. *ugh* I'm ready. I'm not, but I will be ,it's fine. A really well composed shot to catch a *good part* of his bulk, while still leaving part of it off-frame. Him dropping down before the whole thing goes down really seals the deal, too. The right pose for the right situation, ahyep.
...Gawd. One more *hnghhhh* for you, now climb in this casket because we both gonna be ded in a few pages.
