Haha yeah, Nelson's sense of gender equality comes in shotgun gauges. u rite, it was worth to go in and draw the reaction from the bench for one more panel. Those looks of fear do all the characterization for us. Mmm agreed, that line got some weight, the way Nelson uses it. aaaaaaa I'm happy you say that. I could worry about writing long convos like this, whether it's too one-sided, etc. It's hard to get all the right angles out in a debate, much less a heated argument.

Rightly perfect job there. *aaaaaaaaaaaa* SERIOUSLY cone grippin' his arm again, I just LOVE what a natural nervous tic that's become for 'im :allears: You made that such a perfect thing of his, I adore every use of it. It conveys so much emotion beneath the anger in his words. "You've lost your goddamn mind" is actually probably my favorite line on the page, hands down. I can *hear* it in that gravelly tone of hers, mmm. The delivery is on point and I wish I had better chops for her. I love love love how both the speech and poses get more animated and angry as the page goes on. Nelson thumbing over her shoulder in anger about Texas, and ALL THE TEETH SHOWING, and then her and Wash squaring off in 6 is a fuckin' WINNER, you're right. Best panel on the page, two forces of just *FUCK YOU* coming to clash. It IS an unfairly split argument, too -- Nelson ain't like a pup, she don't trust in leads and gut feelings, and Wash has no proof...pluuuuus their history up to this point, especially re: his relationship with Tex, don't give him no bonus points. Mmmm your last two panels are great, too. The framin' with their heads, putting them at eye-level (which...okay honestly that isn't THAT far off, he's only a little taller than Sammy) gives such a serious addition to the already serious tone. Yeaaaah this shit is strong. I love the back and forth, will never stop praising you for how well you do that between these two. It's always killer. <3 Another fantastic page.
