Overlay layers continue to revolutionize my lyfe, haha - so glad you tipped me on to those. They're a cheap hack on both backgrounds and the shading layer! Haha yesssss, Wash's little gestures just as fun as Church's, if not more. Being repetitive makes a consistent character, sometimes. Mmm RIGHT, the stakes on Blue Team aren't skewed the same way it is for the Reds. Of course they'll ALL go down with the rebel ship if HADES raids, but the way Sarge is accountable for his men is different from Church's hands-off "leadership." A fun contrast.

I love your shading and continue to crib many many notes in an attempt to one day achieve this glory :allears: So much more depth given to these two and the way this discussion goes. Wash's bridge-pinch is becoming as iconic as his arm-grab and I'm here for it :allearsx2: I love whenever you work those li'l tics in, they carry a lot of fun additional character weight to his persence. Same way Church's snorts and arm-crossing do (and his LUMBER). Seeing these things brings me great joy. The double extra-wide panels are a treat here. YEAH to be fair there's a lot of Wash-dialogue, but it's good that you gave them room to breathe. Really happy you went with the overhead shot on both, too, and the distance you gave with the second is fantastic. Those beams in the shot, the orange and blue shading/highlights, mmmm. Such good scene-setting. I LOVE Church's face in the second to last panel, haw. And of *course* he doesn't know, it's not like these jerk-offs ever talk srs shop very often. Well that 'n Tucker wouldn't wanna talk about it, okay, fair. BUT STILL. It's on point for them despite the reluctant friendship they have. Cone-pups *they are not*. God, and let's not bypass the writing here -- Wash makes a *valid fuckin' point* about Tucker. Caboose, yeah, okay, whatever, it's Caboose. But Tucker is twice as fucked if he gets caught doing what he did, and his only reason to do it was to be with Church and try to help him. It's *good shit* and the fact Church never realized it is both shitty but also perfect. Good job, Shu, always love seein' yer stories unfold. (Okay a good pup gonna go sleep now can't wait for more bye)
