Jaune's Pineapple Jam Part 2 Ch 7

Apologies for the unannounced delay everyone! I had to repay my coworkers for taking over for me when I went to visit my father and mother for almost a month. It led to me having to take fieldworks to assist their students in the field but I am back now.

Hopefully, now that our semester is ending, I would be free to write even more.

As an apology, I give you my longest chapter to date.

--------

Jaune Arc was fucked.

There was nothing else to it.

He was utterly and completely fucked as he watched a 7-foot tall man made of muscle glare at him.

He kept his eyes down, looking at his own lap as he sat on one of Headmistress’ Goodwitch’s couches inside her office.

Try as he might however, he could not escape the glare from the man in front of him.

Blake’s father, Ghira Belladonna growled at him as his wife and daughter sat uncomfortably beside him while Jaune sat with his parents across them.

One would think that having his own parents by his side would be a source of safety and comfort, but they would be wrong.

His parents had their own things going on.

His father frequently stared at Weiss’ mom to their right, sparing only the quickest of glances to the rest of the room’s occupants.

Jaune’s mother, on the other hand, only kept a cool smile on her face as she flanked Jaune’s other side.

The tension only increased, however, when one looked at the rest of the room’s occupants.

General Ironwood stood beside Headmistress Goodwitch’s chair, a calculating look on his face as he watched all of them with Winter behind him.

Thankfully, they all left their guards out of the room due to it already being cramped with them joining in.

Small mercies, at least.

Jaune only hoped nothing too crazy was happening outside, but with the way his luck was going, his expectations were low.

Regardless, silence dominated as for her part, Glynda Goodwitch only rubbed her forehead in frustration.

And so there they were, growling, glaring, and staring silently at each other as they all sat tensely in their own ways.

That was, of course, until one good soul decided to break the silence.

Clap!

It took one brave soul to break the tension as everyone jolted as they heard a loud clap.

Clap!

“Alright, I suppose introductions are in order?” Athena Nikos, gods bless her heart, smiled comfortingly from behind him while waving to Pyrrha beside her.

“My name is Athena Nikos and this is my daughter, Pyrrha!”

“H-Hello again!” Pyrrha blushed embarrassedly from being put on the spot before years of media exposure had her smiling beautifully at them.

There was a moment of silence when nobody knew how to react to that, but Jaune froze immediately as he felt his mother grab his side.

“Splendid idea, Athena!”

By some unspoken agreement, both male Arcs in the room decided to stay still as the matriarch continued.

“My name is Juniper Arc, and this is my son, Jaune together with my husband, Nicholas.”

The words rang out all across the room, but for some strange reason, Jaune felt like it was being told to one person in particular.

Jaune watched as Willow Schnee chuckled nervously while his mother smiled at her general direction.

“It’s nice to meet you and your family, Juniper. As you may already know, my name is Willow Schnee. These are my daughters, Winter and Weiss.”

Winter only nodded stoically from behind General Ironwood, while Weiss bowed and blushed at the Belladonnas.

“P-Pleased to meet you.”

Jaune tilted his head at that. Weiss wasn’t one to be shy and while it was at least somewhat expected when it came to meeting his parents, her being shy while meeting the Belladonnas was not.

Shame, perhaps, for being part of the SDC who were currently the main perpetrator of widespread racism against the Faunus.

Nervousness, even, when meeting the founders of the White Fang.

But this shyness?

It was uncharacteristic.

Looking at it now, however, Blake was also blushing.

Did something happen between Blake and Weiss since the months they haven’t met each other?

Everyone looked to the Belladonnas at that for their reaction. All Jaune could see, however, was Blake Belladonna’s father staring holes right at him.

The man didn’t even seem to have looked at the Schnees who were supposed to be his family’s sworn enemies.

No, instead, Blake’s father kept his eyes on him.

His salvation came, however, from an unlikely source.

It was a beautiful laugh. It was laughter that came from the soul, and Jaune felt as if he was a desert sand, finally feeling the rain on his skin.

Blake’s mother laughed joyfully at them.

“It is nice to meet all of you. My name is Kali Belladonna, and this is my husband, Ghira.” Kali smiled prettily and Jaune found himself enamored even as Ghira grunted while his wife continued beside him.

“And I’m sure you are all familiar with our daughter Blake?”

Jaune snapped out of his revelry at that, and he watched as his lover flinched violently. Blake looked down shamefully at her lap as her mother put a hand on her shoulder.

He could sympathize, the shame she was feeling now was similar to what he felt when he saw his family on the docks. Only in her case, she ran away years ago while he just left the house for more than a year.

Whatever she was feeling now, it was definitely more than what Jaune was.

He watched her squirm uncomfortably, her mouth opening and closing as she struggled to look at her mother, eventually, however, she stared at him for help.

The action wasn’t lost on everyone there, but as much as he wanted to speak for her, this was her battle fight. Instead, he smiled at her comfortingly, mouthing four words while flicking his gaze to Weiss and Pyrrha.

‘We’re here for you.’

It got a grunt from her father, but it did its mission as he saw Blake form a shaky smile.

“S-So! Mom? Dad?” She ventured, finally getting Ghira to lessen his glare at him as his eyes widened in acknowledgement.

“Hmm? What is it, dear?” Kali asked, her smile immaculate as she stared at her daughter.

Blake choked a bit, her tongue tying itself in her nervousness before she actually managed to bring the words out.

“What brings you here?”

The world paused before Jaune’s hand found his face as Blake winced in realization.

Of all the words she could have said, she had to use those?

Jaune saw Weiss sigh and smile in commiseration for it wasn’t that long ago since she asked that very same question to her mother.

Naturally, Blake received the same from her own.

Kali raised an eyebrow, her voice taking in a wry tone as she put a hand to her cheek.

“Gee, I wonder if it's not because of my daughter who ran away for five years-”

“Six.” Ghira interrupted, eliciting a violent flinch from their daughter while Kali only nodded.

“-six years suddenly appearing in the news at the height of Vale’s largest crisis while kissing a boy with two other women.”

Blake choked.

Jaune froze.

Weiss blushed.

And Pyrrha only laughed awkwardly.

All while their parents stared at them.

If they only knew what else their children had been doing.

Jaune suddenly felt cold, and he shivered even as his father chuckled wryly beside him.

“At least ours wasn’t the only one who ran away from home. Jaune here even took the family heirloom with him.”

Jaune knew his father. He knew it was his own awkward way of diffusing the tension currently aimed at his son. An attempt to commiserate and sympathize with the Belladonnas.

Still, Jaune couldn’t help but cringe at the reminder.

And he wasn’t the only one unimpressed.

“At least yours didn’t join a terrorist organization.” Ghira replied coldly and Jaune watched as his father cringed apologetically while Blake bit her lip in frustration.

It was a reprimand to his daughter and a disownment of the White Fang rolled in one.

As a father and the founder of the White Fang, Ghira certainly had the right to say that.

But still, Jaune could not stay silent as he noticed Blake’s distress.

“She already left them. She even fought against them.” He said, gathering the attention back towards him again.

“Hmmm. There is that, at least.“ Ghira hummed at him as Blake smiled at Jaune in thanks.

It wasn’t approval, per se, but it was an improvement from all the glares Blake’s father was giving him earlier.

It gave him hope that perhaps he wasn’t going to die today. A smile threatened to break out of Jaune’s face at that, but he suppressed it lest he attract Ghira’s ire again.

“While I am glad you are now all acquainted with each other without commiting murder in my office, shall we finally speak about the goliath in the room? There are still matters to discuss after all.” Headmistress Glynda interjected, and all hope of Jaune leaving the room unscathed vanished as all eyes set upon him.

Before he could even say anything to defend himself, however, he felt his father grip his shoulder.

“Before we start, I need to know something.”

It was as if a boulder sat on his shoulder heavily, and all Jaune could do was sit silently with a pale face, as his father had never looked more serious than before.

“Jaune, what is your Semblance?”

It was as if the world suddenly turned colder as every single parent around him, except Athena, sharpened their gazes towards him.

“I-It’s Aura Amplification.” He gulped nervously, not seeing the point in the question even as his father’s brows rose silently.

“Are you sure it is not any form of mind control?”

Jaune gasped, disbelief and hurt flashing in his eyes as he looked upon his father.

“No! Of course not! How could you even ask me that?!” He answered vehemently, but his father remained steadfast as he gripped Jaune’s shoulder tighter.

“I need you to show me.”

Jaune gritted his teeth tightly, anger flowing in his veins as he called upon his Semblance.

Light so bright that they had to squint their eyes suddenly emanated from him, and Jaune took pleasure in seeing his father’s surprised face.

He jolted out of it, however, when he felt his mother lightly slap his shoulder. It didn’t hurt a bit, but it got his attention as his mother hissed at him.

“Stop! Do you want to make us blind?!”

His Semblance died down and Jaune sheepishly rubbed the back of his head as groans sounded out from around him.

“What was that?” Weiss asked, rubbing the spots in her vision as her mother did the same beside her.

“You didn’t glow so fast and so bright like that before.” Blake added, blinking at him even as she tilted her head.

“I’ve been practicing.” Jaune smirked before smugly turning to his father. “Satisfied?”

Credit where credit was due, his father knew how to apologize.

“I’m sorry, son, but you need to understand. I had to make sure for your own sake as well.” His father sighed, tilting his head towards the other parents in the room.

Jaune slowly nodded in understanding, but a wry smile still formed on his face as he looked away from his father.

“I understand, but did you really have to ask me like that?”

He rolled his shoulder gently, peeling away his father’s grip as he remembered how tightly he bore him down.

“Sorry, but there’s a excellent reason for that.” His father said apologetically, gathering everyone's attention in the room.

There was a moment when he hesitated, glancing at everyone around them before finally making up his mind.

“Well, you’re already at the age I was supposed to tell you anyway.”

“A family secret? You don’t have to tell us if you don’t need to.” Willow Schnee said amicably, but his father only shook his head at that.

“No, this concerns your daughters as well.” Nicholas Arc replied, looking at Weiss, then Blake, and finally at Pyrrha.

“Well, what is it?” Jaune asked impatiently as nervousness entered his heart at that.

His father, however, only looked at him seriously before opening his mouth.

“You are not the first Arc that has been in a polygamous situation.”

Whatever Jaune expected his father to say, that was not it.

He immediately flushed at that, his lovers following suit as they all looked away from their parents.

Brothers, please don’t tell him his father was going to brag about having a polygamous relationship of his own.

Luckily for him, it was not like that. Unluckily, however, it was much darker.

“We, Arcs, don’t like to talk about it, but back during the age of warring kingdoms before Vale was even formed, one of us ruled a lot of land. Now if that was just all then he would have been remembered fondly, instead, the way he gathered power for our family was utterly repulsive.”

Fascination and horror started to fill their audience as his father narrated a dark part of his family’s history.

His name was Mason Arc, and his Semblance allowed him to increase his appeal and effectively mind control women to lust after him. He stole wives, daughters, and sisters from influential noblewomen. He effectively made them willing hostages as he bred an army out of them, while sons who became a threat to his dreams of empire were killed.”

Jaune gaped in terror as his father’s eyes bore onto his own. He could only stay silent, however, as his father continued with a smile lifting the heavy frown on his face.

“It was a son, however, who finally toppled his kingdom, and wouldn’t you know it, his name was also Jaune Arc.”

Pride slowly burned out the fear and disgust filling Jaune as he listened to the tales of his ancestor.

“Jaune Arc would defeat his father in single combat, claiming leadership of his family as he imprisoned his father. Eventually, however, he would surrender most of his lands in recompense to the people his father abused. And thus, the Kingdom of Arcadia was destroyed, and so began the story of Vale.” Nicholas Arc finished, smiling at his son as he put an arm on his shoulder, this time much more gently than how he did earlier.

“You were scared I was going to be like Mason Arc?” Jaune asked softly, tentatively putting a hand over his father’s own.

“You have to understand, Jaune. Every single male Arc had to know this story when we are old enough to serve both as a warning and to make a promise.”

“A promise?” He tilted his head in confusion as his father’s smile suddenly turned wry.

“A promise not to enter into polygamous relationships.”

The world froze and Jaune suddenly turned pale. Before he could even say anything, however, another voice cut through between them.

“NO!” Weiss Schnee squealed painfully, snapping all attention towards her as she bit her lip in fear, while both Blake and Pyrrha also looked on in worry.

The fear was not unfounded. Arcs promised not to enter polygamous relationships, and Arcs kept their promises.

“I haven’t made the promise yet!” He shouted with wide eyes as his father nodded beside him.

“You haven’t.” Nicholas acknowledged. “The promise was only taken seriously during your namesake’s time. It is now only made as a formality, since cultural norms are predominantly monogamous. I told you that story to warn you, but the real lesson of the story is not to abuse what you have.”

“I won’t abuse them.” Jaune replied resolutely as he looked at his father with determination in his eyes.

“I’m not the one who has to hear that.” His father smiled, pride entering his eyes as he looked back at Jaune.

“And so we finally get to the crux of the matter.” Headmistress Glynda intoned, looking at him, Pyrrha, Blake, and Weiss. “Your relationship.”

Jaune paused, feeling eyes on him again as his lovers’ parents looked at him together with Headmistress Goodwitch and General Ironwood.

“Do we really have to do this here? Shouldn’t this be a private matter?” He asked embarrassedly, getting nods from his own girlfriends even as their parents muttered in agreement.

General Ironwood sighed, however, before shaking his head.

“I’m afraid it is not that simple, Mr. Arc-”

“Jaune, please call me Jaune. It would be confusing with my father here.” He interrupted, getting a nod from General Ironwood as well as his father.

“Very well, Jaune. Now as I was saying, it is no longer that simple because the truth of the matter is, your relationship has now become a matter for Remnant’s security.”

Whatever Jaune expected him to say, that was not it.

“I’m sorry. What?” He blinked in shock, but this time, it was Headmistress Goodwitch who answered.

“I want you to look at who you have entangled yourself with.” She sighed, waving a hand towards Pyrrha’s direction first. “Pyrrha Nikos, four time regional champion, the Pride of Mistral.”

Pyrrha blushed at the introduction, but Headmistress Glynda only continued, now pointing her hand towards Weiss.

“Weiss Schnee, world-renowned singer, Heiress of the SDC.”

Weiss bowed politely as Headmistress Glynda now waved towards Blake.

“Blake Belladonna, daughter of Ghira, and practically stands as Princess of the Faunus.”

A pout formed on Blake’s face, even as her father began to glare at Jaune again.

Jaune could only blush, however, knowing just how wonderful his girlfriends were once again.

Headmistress Goodwitch, however, only sighed exasperatedly at him.

“Do you see the pattern now, Jaune?”

“That they are all wonderful and beautiful people?” He offered embarrassedly, getting blushes from his lovers, even as their mothers laughed amusedly.

“Oh my!” Athena chuckled behind him.

“What a charmer!” Kali noted happily, getting Ghira to growl at Jaune once again.

“I see it runs in the family.” Willow laughed, looking at him and his father, and getting the both of them to blush, to his mother’s annoyance.

“I apologize for my son.” Juniper Arc sighed, but the rest of the mothers only laughed louder.

“Don’t be! He’s a wonderful young man!” Athena shouted, softly patting Jaune’s hair to his and Pyrrha’s own embarrassment.

“Mom!”

“Too wonderful, perhaps.” Kali added, looking at him teasingly, to the surprise of her family.

“Mom?!”

“Kali?!”

Already, Jaune could see chaos start to form.

And then Willow Schnee just had to add fuel to the fire.

“Just like his father.” Willow sighed forlornly, a hand on her cheek as she kept looking at him and his father

“”Mother?!”” Both Winter and Weiss screamed, mortification clear on their faces, as his father choked on air at that.

Both he and his father could only blush as his mother suddenly grabbed onto them while glaring at Willow Schnee.

“Mine!”

Chaos reigned as Jaune could only groan in embarrassment while the rest of the room devolved into daughters talking to their mothers while Ghira glared at him.

It took some time but thankfully, Headmistress Goodwitch and General Ironwood got things back under control.

“As I was saying!” Headmistress Glynda started with a sigh of frustration. “Jaune’s relationship is now relevant to Remnant’s security due to the fact that his lovers are all women of repute! It is not so much as how many people he is with, but it’s who he is with!”

“Don’t you think you are overreacting? While they might be in the level of celebrities, surely they are not as relevant to Remnant’s security as you say they are. At most, they cause a stir, like they are doing now.” Willow asked, her brows furrowing in confusion as she looked at Headmistress Goodwitch.

“Besides, we haven’t even given our approval.” Ghira growled, getting Blake to look at him in distress, as Jaune only clenched his hands tighter.

“Again, it is not that simple. Take a look at this.” Headmistress Glynda answered, rubbing her forehead even as her other hand fished out her Scroll.

They watched as holographic screens appeared between them, and already, Jaune could see what the Headmistress went.

Forums, podcasts, videos, all appeared together.

“A third of Remnant wants to kill you.” Headmistress Glynda announced, and Jaune gulped as he saw her green eyes locked onto him. “Another third wants to worship you.”

“A-And the other third?” He asked nervously, almost fearing the answer, as Headmistress Goodwitch looked at him flatly.

“The last third of Remnant at least do not know what to think about you. Some of them want to be you, some of them want to sleep with you. Who knows? We haven’t even talked about the Faunus yet.”

“Yes, we have not.” Ghira growled, gritting his teeth as he looked at Jaune.

Jaune shivered at that, and he was infinitely thankful when he felt his mother hold his hand in comfort.

“What do you propose to do about it?” She asked bravely in his stead.

Was he embarrassed to be held by his mother?

Hell no!

….Well, maybe a bit.

But he was going to take every support he could as he suddenly discovered Remnant was starting to go crazy about him.

He knew he was getting famous, of course. He had to avoid fans back in Argus. But he didn’t know he was going to be this famous.

“Like it or not, you have now entered the center stage of what amounts to Remnant’s global politics. Already, the councils are starting to take notice of you. I especially expect Vacuo to make a move to make one of them your lover to balance things out.” General Ironwood added to Jaune’s increasing distress.

His girlfriends, however, only hardened their eyes at the mention of a possible addition from Vacuo.

“Again, what do you suggest we do?” His father asked, leaning forward as he looked upon General Ironwood.

The answer, however, came from another person.

“This is ridiculous! Can’t we just split them-”

“GHIRA!” Kali shouted, silencing her husband with a glare, before her beatific smile returned as Blake looked on in fright. “We have talked about this, honey.”

Ghira only shut his mouth with a huff, but Kali was not satisfied with just silence for an answer.

“What did we say?” She intoned slowly, and miraculously, Ghira answered.

“Not to rip the boy’s head off.” He grumbled and Jaune squeaked as he suddenly felt the urge to rub his neck.

“What else?” Kali drawled and finally, Ghira sighed in resignation.

“We hear them out and let them explain themselves.”

“Yes!” Kali smiled before turning towards them. “Now I apologize for that unsightly tiff, but I believe it is best if you explain yourselves first before we jump to conclusions? After all, we don’t even know what exactly happened and how we came to all of this!”

Jaune blushed sheepishly, his girlfriends squirming around them as he rubbed the back of his head.

“Where do we even start?”

“From the beginning, of course. I am curious to know how you grew close to my daughter.” Willow nodded slowly, and it was perhaps the first time she really talked to him without including his father in the context.

“Mother?” Weiss gasped in surprise, but Willow only smiled sadly at her.

“Is it really that surprising that I would be interested in your life?”

“Yes.”

The answer was immediate, as it was cruel, albeit unintentional. He saw Willow’s face crumple and Weiss’ eyes widen, and in an effort to salvage the mood, he laughed loudly.

“Would it surprise you to know that Weiss actually hated me at first?”

Eyes snapped towards the heiress at that and Weiss was caught gawking before a blush formed on his face as she turned towards him embarrassedly.

“I-what-I did not hate you!” She sputtered indignantly, but snickers from Blake and Pyrrha showed the contrary.

“I still remember the days you turned down Jaune’s advancements.” Pyrrha sighed nostalgically, while Blake’s eyes twinkled teasingly.

“Didn’t you slam a door on his face once?”

“It was only once and I-I was merely annoyed by his immaturity at the time!” Weiss blushed, her eyes looking away from him in embarrassment.

Jaune, however, could only laugh awkwardly as he remembered his early attempts to court Weiss.

“Y-Yeah, I was a bit immature back then.”

“Yes, you were.” Blake laughed loudly while Pyrrha put a hand comfortingly on his shoulder from behind him.

“I still loved you anyway.” She smiled, getting Jaune to blush and look down at his hands.

Looking back at it now, he could almost die of cringe at his awkward attempts of wooing Weiss. It was forceful, hasty, and selfish with no regard to her wants and needs.

It was a miracle Pyrrha still fell for him despite seeing that side of him.

“So how did things start?” Kali leaned forward in interest as her eyes flicked towards him and Pyrrha behind him. “I assume you were the first to form a relationship, and then my daughter followed after?”

Both Jaune and Pyrrha blushed at that, their eyes snapping towards Blake who was blushing as well. The action was not lost on the people around them, and Ghira turned to her daughter in disbelief.

“Blake? You were the first?”

“Technically speaking, it was a tie between me and Pyrrha?” Blake chuckled, awkwardly looking away from her father.

“What do you mean a tie?! How could something like that even be a tie?!” Ghira shouted in shock, but Blake only blushed embarrassedly as she bowed her head.

“I don’t want to talk about it.”

“Oh my!” Kali gasped, and Blake’s eyes immediately snapped to her mother as she saw realization sink into them.

“Mom, please don’t say anything else.” Blake groaned in mortification, her hands rising up to cover her own face as she remembered the time Team RWBY discovered her relationship with Jaune and Pyrrha.

“What?! What is it, Kali?!” Ghira demanded, but his wife only chuckled at him.

“You still haven’t realized, dear? Remember what Blake said in live tv when they confronted Adam during The Breach?”

Involuntarily, Jaune remembered the words Blake said all those months ago.

“He’s bigger than you.” Kali repeated, getting Blake to choke out a cry as she tried to stop her mother from speaking.

“Mom, please!”

“He’s better than you.” Kali continued, leaning away from Blake’s hands as she looked at Jaune with bright amber eyes.

“And he lasts longer than you.” Kali whispered just before Blake finally managed to cover her mouth.

“Nooooo!” Blake screamed, bowing her head even as she covered her mother’s mouth.

Jaune could not help it. His member hardened despite the situation they were in.

He only hoped Blake’s father didn’t kill him now, as everyone was reminded of what Blake said and what it could only mean.

Realization began to creep to the rest of them, and they all looked at them with varying reactions.

Ghira, however, could only stay silent with his mouth open, his brain refusing to process the possibility of what Kali could be insinuating!

They had had sex. And judging by Blake’s earlier statement about her and Pyrrha being in a tie…..

Ghira immediately shook his head to get the thought out of his mind.

It was too late, however, because there was one other who knew the whole story.

“Hearing it again, I still can’t believe it happened! Good job, you three!” Athena laughed, getting Pyrrha to squirm embarrassedly.

“Mom! We told you that in confidence!”

“What? They might as well be your in-laws as well. They deserve to hear what you and Jaune have told me.” Athena grinned, waving to everyone inside the room as Jaune suddenly paled.

“In-laws?!” Weiss squeaked while, at the same time, Ghira finally snapped out of it only for his mind to break again as he repeated the word in-laws.

Already, Jaune’s head began to spin as he felt the conversation spiral out of control.

For his part, Jaune’s father, only looked at him with wonder.

“Nice.” He said with a thumbs up.

That was no help whatsoever because immediately, Juniper Arc leaned over Jaune to slap his father on the back of his head.

“Nicky!”

“What?! What do you want me to say? What do you even say to that?!” His father pouted, waving a hand towards Jaune as he groaned in embarrassment.

“It certainly is impressive.” Willow giggled, patting Weiss on the leg to calm her down, even as her blue eyes locked onto Jaune’s. “I’m assuming you did the same with my daughter?”

Jaune tried to fight down the blush, but it was no use, he was already red from all the embarrassment he was feeling today.

“I mean, it was definitely more than just that?”

“Oh dear! More than sex?” Willow exclaimed, coyly covering her mouth with a hand as her eyes twinkled while Weiss gasped beside her.

“Mother! Must you be so vulgar?!” She screamed embarrassedly, but her mother only looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

“I’m not the one in a polygamous relationship, am I?”

Weiss choked on her saliva at that, but eventually, order had to be restored as Ghira clapped his hands with a shout.

“ENOUGH!”

Silence dominated the room as they all looked at the large man, and Jaune gulped as he saw dark eyes glare at him.

“Enough explanations, we know they are together. The question is, what now?”

Headmistress Goodwitch coughed, gathering the attention towards her as she opened her.

“The simplest solution would be for them to break up-”

“”””Absolutely not!”””” Jaune, Pyrrha, Blake, and Weiss answered at the same time to which Headmistress Goodwitch only sighed.

“Well, there goes my solution to let everything die down.”

Silence dominated the room once again, and again just like before, one brave soul broke the silence.

“Who says we have to do anything?”

Eyes snapped towards the source and all they could see was Athena’s glowing green eyes as a smile lit up her face.

“W-What?” Ghira gawked in confusion, but Athena only shrugged.

“They’re training to be Huntsmen, hunters of the Grimm, they are practically adults already.” Athena smiled, and a warm feeling immediately filled Jaune as she looked at him.”They could make their own decisions, and if it is my approval they need, then they already have it.”

“What are you saying?” Ghira asked with wide eyes but Athena only nodded at him.

“I’m saying that if they want to get together, hitched, married, then they already have my approval.”

There was shouting, gasping, and squealing, but thunder pounded through Jaune’s ears as he realized what she just said.

Marriage.

Approval.

Blessing.

Call it whatever you want but Jaune could not keep the smile off of his face.

“Mom!” Pyrrha beamed, turning to her mother with open arms as the two redheads approached each other. “Thank you so much!”

Tears pricked Pyrrha’s eyes and Athena could only laugh even as Jaune stood to turn towards them.

“Oh, Pyrrha. Why would you even worry considering you know I know what you have been up to?”

“Mom!” Green eyes twinkled while Pyrrha blushed embarrassedly.

“I-thank you, Mrs. Nikos.” He stuttered numbly, his mouth tying itself into knots as he found himself at a loss for words. “I don’t even know what to say.”

Athena smiled amusedly at her, opening her arms up to receive Jaune together with Pyrrha.

“First of all, call me Athena or even mother if you like.”

Jaune could only blush stepping around the couch to approach them hesitantly.

Athena, however, only pulled him into their group hug.

“Second, promise me you’ll take care of my daughter.” She whispered as she, Pyrrha, and Jaune held each other tight.

Jaune could only nod, his blood pounding loudly in his ears as he finally processed what was happening.

“Arc’s word, I promise I’ll take care of Pyrrha.”

“And I’ll take care of you.” Pyrrha added, looking at him with her bright green eyes with a smile on her face.

It was sweet, fulfilling, but the moment could not last.

“Ahem!” His mother coughed loudly, reminding them that they were not the only ones in the room.

The moment Jaune turned around, he saw his father grinning proudly with his mother crossing her arms unamusedly beside him.

“Do we even get a say on this?”

“Sorry, Juniper. I may have jumped the gun a bit.” Athena winced apologetically, but she kept a smile on her face as she pushed Jaune and Pyrrha towards his parents.

There was a moment when her mother only looked at them while his father smiled stupidly, but it only lasted a moment.

Eventually, her mother sighed and shook her head.

“There’s nothing to it then. Welcome to the family, Pyrrha.”

Pyrrha squeaked while his father quickly pumped a fist.

“Yes! Bloodline secured!”

Jaune blushed, looking at Pyrrha, even as his mother looked at the both of them.

“I expect many wonderful grandchildren from the both of you.”

Jaune choked.

Pyrrha’s eyes snapped towards his.

And the rest of the people there gasped in shock.

If only they knew-

“Well, that’s one way to solve the problem.” General Ironwood coughed, instantly hiding his smile behind a hand as he looked at them.

“Sir?!” Winter gawked behind the general, but General Ironwood only waved a hand towards them.

“Marriage, Winter, marriage.”

That was it.

Someone finally said it.

Marriage.

His body turned numb, even as he felt cold electricity tingle up his spine.

Marriage.

Jaune Arc was about to get married.

And out of everyone in the room, Jaune did not expect that to come out of General Ironwood’s mouth.

In hindsight, though, who in their right mind would even say it?

Unbeknownst to him, however, which in hindsight should have been obvious, was that General Ironwood was willing to do anything for his goals. And while Atlas was his priority, Remnant’s security was a close second.

So it was no wonder that General Ironwood would propose what he said next.

Worse yet, who in their right mind would suggest what General Ironwood said next?

“Marriage to all of them.”

“ABSOLUTELY NOT!” Ghira roared, glaring at the Atlesian General even as Winter made her own opinions be known.

“GENERAL! I MUST PROTEST!”

A Belladonna and a Schnee agreeing on something, you don’t see that everyday outside of Team RWBY.

Now that he thought about it, however, Jaune’s eyes found Blake’s and Weiss’.

They were shocked, surprised, yet they were hopeful even as embarrassment tinted their cheeks red.

Jaune’s own cheeks reddened as he looked upon them with Pyrrha beside him.

If he was going to marry Pyrrha, then he sure as hell was going to marry them.

There was only one problem, well, two at least.

“You can’t expect us to just agree to this out of nowhere! Blake might be a Huntress-in-training right now, but she is still my daughter!” Ghira raged, gritting his teeth as he suddenly stood in front of his daughter

“This is preposterous, General! There is absolutely no reason for Weiss to be entangled with such a person!” Winter exclaimed, way past insubordination in defense of her sister.

And yet a third protester surprised them all.

“Mr. Belladonna is right.”

The voice was calm, quiet, and had no right to command attention as it did, but they all felt a cool chill as they looked upon Willow Schnee’s cold gaze.

“I cannot just accept this out of nowhere.”

It was such a sudden shift from her earlier demeanor that everyone was caught flat-footed.

“Mother?” Weiss gawked in shock, looking at her mother as if truly seeing her for the first time.

Willow, however, only kept her gaze aimed at Jaune even as she answered Weiss.

“It is one thing to sleep with an Arc. It is entirely another matter to marry them.” Her eyes then flicked towards Jaune’s father, and the man stumbled back upon seeing the pain in her eyes. “I should know, I tried to marry one.”

Gasps filled the room once again, and all eyes flicked back and forth between Jaune’s father and Weiss’ mother. Jaune only breathed sharply, however, when a flash of blonde hair walked past him.

“Woah there, princess. Nicky told me everything. It’s not his fault you didn’t lock in such a fine specimen of a man.” Juniper Arc hissed, their surroundings falling silent as she leaned down to look eye to eye with Willow Schnee.

Willow, however, instead of relenting, only narrowed her eyes further as she began to stand up. She stumbled a bit, her balance shot, as she was recently more familiar to being drunk than being not, but her hands found themselves gripping onto Juniper’s sleeves. Juniper, in effect, grabbed her forearms backed.

They both stood there, glaring at each other, even as they both kept a tight hold on each other.

“That is not fair! I let him go so he could chase his dream of being a hero! You didn’t!” Willow hissed, but Juniper only scoffed at her while rolling her eyes.

“Oh, so it’s my fault then?!”

Contrary to expectations, however, Willow Schnee shook her head.

“No! It is his!”

“My fault?” Nicholas Arc pointed dumbly at himself but Willow only fumed.

“You wanted to be a hero so much that you left me!” She screamed before turning towards Jaune who stumbled back at the heat in her eyes. “And now that your son is a hero, it’s only a matter of time before he leaves my daughter as well!”

“I-what?!”

Much like his father, Jaune pointed dumbly at himself.

And much like his father, it was his lover who came to his defense.

“Jaune would never do that!” Pyrrha shouted, stepping past him in a flash of red.

Again, however, Willow Schnee only narrowed her eyes as she pulled away from Juniper.

“He won’t do that to you because you could fight by his side, but what about Weiss?”

This time, however, it was Weiss who stood up.

“Excuse me?! Are you implying I cannot fight by his side?!”

Again, however, Willow had an answer for her, and this time, it took the wind out of Weiss’ sails.

“Not when you’re leading the SDC.” Willow answered depreciatingly.

“W-What?” Weiss shook slightly, but Willow was merciless even as tears pricked her eyes.

“How do you expect to hunt Grimm when you are chained to a desk managing the company?”

Weiss trembled as the realization washed over her, her knees losing strength and making her suddenly sit down again.

“You mean….I can’t be a Huntress?”

“Not if you want to inherit the company.”

“No.”

It took him an embarrassing amount of time to realize that the word came from him, but when he did, Jaune decided to roll with it.

“Weiss can be a Huntress. She will be a Huntress.”

“And then what? She would neglect the company in favor of fighting Grimm?” Willow asked, pursing her lips as she looked at him.

Undeterred, however, Jaune found the courage to step forward as Weiss turned towards him.

He could see hope starting to twinkle in her eyes, but it was still a tad too dim for his liking.

Not for long, however, because as he looked at her mother, Jaune found his resolution.

“No, we’ll help her.”

“How?” Willow barked.

“We’ll help clean up the Grimm plaguing the SDC.” Jaune answered.

“And after that? Are you willing to be chained to an office desk and her bed?”

He nearly faltered at that, but thankfully, he was not alone.

“No, we’ll change the system of oppression being used now into something more sustainable. Something more equal.”

Eyes turned towards the source, only for everyone to see Blake Belladonna standing resolutely.

“Blake.” Ghira whispered, but Blake only shook her head.

“No, dad. You’ve been fighting to have equality for the Faunus. You can’t stop me now that I’m forging my own path to do just that.” Blake answered, looking towards Jaune, Weiss, and Pyrrha with a smile on her face.

“It would be our fight now.” Pyrrha added, stepping up beside Jaune in a show of unity as they all smiled at Blake.

Ghira fell silent at that, a complicated expression forming on his face before sighing as he looked at his daughter with pride and worry both.

“I still haven’t given my permission, you know?” Ghira grumbled, yet this time, it was his own wife who talked to him.

Kali stood up, stretching her hand forward to rub Ghira’s palm.

“Dear, I have one word for you.”

“What is it?”

“Grandkitties.”

The world ground to a halt and just like that, Ghira Belladonna sat down in resignation while Juniper Arc snapped towards Kali.

“Grandkitties?”

“Grandkitties!” Kali repeated, and immediately squeals filled the room as Juniper flashed towards Kali.

What was supposed to be a tense stand-off with Willow Schnee suddenly turned into a silly spectacle as they watched the two women quickly strike up a friendship.

“”Grandkitties! Grandkitties! Grandkitties!””

Jaune felt like he was being whip lashed as the chant rang around the room, and he could only cover his with a hand as he sighed in resignation.

Despite that, however, he could not help but smile as the two women jumped around in a circle while Blake groaned embarrassedly.

“Mommmm.”

“What? This way, you could be with those you love, right?” Kali laughed, nodding towards Jaune and Pyrrha as they both glowed red with smiles on their faces.

“I guess.” Blake looked away bashfully before glancing back at Jaune and Pyrrha.

“Ahhh, what the hell? Welcome to the family, Blake!” His mother pulled her into a hug, throwing her hands up as she let the hysteria of the moment take control over her.

“T-Thank you!” Blake squeaked out, blushing at Jaune over his mother’s shoulder.

He only laughed, however, but before he could even say anything, Kali pushed her daughter towards them.

Jaune’s eyes widened, but he found his arms opening up subconsciously as a laugh escaped his mouth.

“Blake!” He shouted, catching her soft body, even as Pyrrha stretched her arms around the both of them.

And suddenly, they found themselves in a group hug.

“Not too close. You aren’t married yet.” Ghira growled, crossing his arms, even as the rest of their parents let out amused chuckles.

That only left one, however, who was not amused.

Willow looked at them with narrowed eyes as Weiss sat behind her with despair written on her face.

It wouldn’t be for long, however, because Jaune faced towards them with the rest of his lovers. Yet before he could even open his mouth, Willow Schnee beat him to it.

“What are your intentions with my daughter?”

Jaune paused, and it was only now did he realize, that this was the first time someone was asking him for his input. Looking into Willow’s resolute eyes, he knew then that this was a test.

And it was a test he had no plan of failing.

“I promise to cherish her.” He began as he stepped forward.

“I promise to love her.” He added as he took another step.

“And I promise I will never ever leave her.” He finished, finally standing face to face with Willow Schnee.

Only a foot separated them from each other, and from this distance, Jaune could actually see the tiredness in the bags under her eyes.

Jaune realized then, she was tired, practically alone, and smaller than him. Yet here she was, standing in front of him in an effort to protect her daughter from pain in her own way.

In a way, it moved him, and so Jaune leaned down to whisper words that he hoped would convince her.

“It’s okay, Mrs. Schnee. You can leave her to me now. On my word as an Arc, I will always take care of your daughter.”

Willow’s eyes widened before closing as she let out a breath.

“And an Arc keeps their word.”

“Exactly.” Jaune laughed, leaning backward as he saw a smile grace Willow Schnee’s face.

“Call me Willow.” She sighed, breaking the tension as she stumbled back into her chair.

“Mother?” Weiss asked, her eyes brightening even as he heard Winter choke in shock.

Willow, however, only smiled softly. “The SDC approves of this union.”

Weiss squealed, and Jaune knew then, no words were needed.

He opened his arms much like the same way he did earlier, and imediately, Weiss leapt towards him.

Her small frame flew through the air, and Jaune received her with equal gusto as both Pyrrha and Blake congregated around them.

Laughter rang out from around them, until, of course, a shout cut through the air.

“No! I cannot accept this!”

“Winter.” General Ironwood warned, but Winter however only shook her head.

“I’m sorry, General, but this is now a family matter.” She said before turning towards her mother. “Mother, what would father say? I know he sent you here so you could bring back Weiss to the family.”

Willow, however, only narrowed her eyes at her daughter.

“Winter, I didn’t expect you to care much for what your father would say.”

“I don’t, but again, what do you think he would say? What do you think he would do?”

“Speak plainly, sister.” Weiss frowned, but her sister only smiled sadly at her.

“He could disown you, Weiss. I’m surprised he hasn’t done so already considering you have been effectively missing for the last few months.”

Weiss gawked before turning towards her mother. “He can’t do that, can he?”

Willow staying silent and biting her lip worriedly was not any less comforting, but she knew the truth. Jacques had done so before. He had disowned Winter when she left for Atlas Academy.

“I’m sorry, Weiss, but your plans for changing the company? You cannot do that if you marry him.” Winter continued, nodding towards Jaune with something akin to pity in her eyes.

His fist clenched at that. Oh, how he wanted to tell her how wrong she was. How they could change the SDC without joining it. But it would be unfair of him because he knew for a fact that it was Weiss’ dream to change and improve her family’s legacy.

How they reacted to this challenge would wholly depend on Weiss. All they could do now, however, was support her with all they had.

His hand found hers just as Pyrrha and Blake reached out to hug her.

“What do you want to do, Weiss?” He asked, leaning closer even as she twitched tensely.

“We’re here for you, you know that, right?” Pyrrha added as she rubbed her shoulders comfortingly.

“Whatever you want to do, we’ll always be with you.” Blake finished, holding Weiss’ other hand, and that more than anything seemed to have the most effect to the people watching them.

Kali and Ghira looked at each other meaningfully.

Willow gasped before rubbing her eyes as tears threatened to wet them.

Athena smirked as she stood with Nicholas and Juniper.

And even General Ironwood shot Headmistress Glynda a smile as Winter twitched at the sight.

“Think carefully, Weiss. All I want is the best for you. But if you really want to do this, then I won’t stop you. I just want you to know that I don’t think someone beneath you is the best for you.”

Jaune twitched at the insult, and he was just about to give her a piece of his mind when suddenly Weiss stepped in front of him.

“Oh, he was beneath me, alright.”

“Weiss-” Jaune started but before he could, Weiss continued.

“He’s also been above me, behind me, and in front of me!” She snapped, a mad grin overtaking her face as they all reeled back in shock.

“Oh my!” Athena gasped.

“Ah, to be in love.” Kali laughed.

“I did not need that image of my son in my head.” Juniper groaned.

“Imagine how I feel, I need a drink.” Willow sighed, secretly fiddling with her pocket to fish out a small vial of alcohol..

Weiss, however, paid them no mind as she kept her eyes on her sister.

“You see, sister, I choose Jaune. I choose Blake. I choose Pyrrha. I don’t need to be part of the SDC to make a change. I don’t know how exactly I will do that yet, but I’m sure as long as we are together. Then we can do it.” Weiss declared, and Jaune watched as Winter gawked at her sister.

“I-Weiss!” She shrieked, not knowing what to say even as Weiss rolled her eyes.

“Honestly, sister, I don’t understand why you are resisting. It’s not like you’re the one who’s about to get married.”

“Marriage is an important thing! As your sister, it is my duty to screen any would be suitors for your hand! I have not screened Jaune Arc yet.” Winter flushed before snapping towards him with gritted teeth.

Jaune only blinked, however, as both a younger brother and an older brother, he could understand the notion. He just wished that Winter wasn’t so hostile in trying to accomplish it.

In contrast, Weiss only sighed harshly.

“I understand, Winter, but I am my own woman. I had hoped you trusted me enough to accept my choice.”

“How could I when the last time I saw you, y-you were acting wantonly towards him!” Winter shot back, getting Weiss to splutter as eyes turned towards him.

Jaune remembered that day, it was their last day together before Team RWBY and Team JNPR went their separate ways right after The Breach.

He also remembered the feel of Weiss’ body against his. He couldn’t help it, he immediately hardened, even as Winter glared shakily at him.

“I-Nobody asked you to take a look!” Weiss defended, a blush coming on her face even as Winter gritted her teeth.

“N-Nobody asked you to sleep with him either!” Winter blushed, her eyes that were glaring at Jaune since earlier looked away from him.

The action was not lost on Weiss, and she immediately pounced to deflect the attention away from her.

“What? Jealous?” Weiss smirked, adding fuel to the fire as Winter looked at her in shock.

“Perish the thought!”

But Weiss was relentless, she did not let the chance go to put her sister on the backfoot.

“I don’t know, sister, you seem awfully fixated on me and Jaune. Is there something you want to tell us?”

Okay, even for Jaune, this was too much. He moved to pull Weiss back, but he paused as he suddenly saw Winter glare at him again. Shrugging to himself, however, he continued.

“Come on, Weiss-”

This time, however, it was Blake who stopped him.

“No, no. I want to see where this goes.” She grinned from ear to ear, and Jaune couldn’t help but have his eyes blow wide open as he looked at Pyrrha for help.

Pyrrha, however, only shrugged helplessly. “I’m sorry, Jaune, but I am kind of curious as well.”

He turned to Winter apologetically, but all he could see was her glowing red face.

“Do not even think about it.” She growled, but Jaune only raised his hands up defensively.

“I wasn’t even thinking about anything!”

Before anyone else could say anything however, a heated sigh from behind him gathered everyone’s attention.

“You know what they say, once you go Arc, you never go back.” Willow Schnee leaned languidly on her chair with a soft blush on her face.

“”Mother?!”” The two sisters exclaimed in shock, looking at their mother, who only laughed softly at their expression.

“What? It was true for me, and it seems like it’s true for Weiss as well. Winter only needs a taste to see if it is true for her as well.”

Half-lidded eyes turned to Jaune and his father at that. Jaune could only watch in shock however as his father choked on air before snapping his head towards his mother with a pale face.

Contrary to expectations, Juniper, however, only shrugged.

“She’s out of line, but she’s right. Once you go Arc, there might be no going back.”

“Preach, sister!” Willow laughed, raising a hand and showcasing everyone what she was holding.

An empty vial.

Weiss gasped softly, a hand coming to cover her mouth even as she looked at her mother with a disappointed face.

“Mother, are you drunk?”

Shame filled Willow’s face at that and her joyful demeanor immediately died down as she looked away from them.

“I’m sorry, I just needed a drink.” She gulped, her shaky hands putting the vial back in her pocket.

Whatever was in it, it would have to have been strong to have such an effect in small amounts.

Jaune could see his father look pained at her, and before he knew it, he was already moving forward.

“Here, would you like me to help?” He asked, kneeling down in front of her as he stretched out a glowing hand.

Willow looked at him confusedly before a wry smile appeared on her face.

“Such a charmer.” She hiccupped, starting to shake her head but Jaune would have none of it.

His hand reached forward for hers, and before she could even pull back, he poured his Semblance into her ever so gently.

For Willow, it felt like the sun shining brightly to disperse the fog. It was as if cool water washed over her skin, leaving her refreshed and much more sober than before.

And then there was the heat simmering in her belly as determined blue eyes looked at her with a smile on his face.

“O-Oh.” She gasped, her misty eyes gaining clarity, even as a blush spread on her cheeks. “T-Thank you, Mr. Arc, but that should be enough.”

“You’re welcome.” He beamed brightly, standing up straight to turn back to her lovers, only to pause as he saw them look wryly at him.

“I certainly did not expect that.” Pyrrha squeaked.

“Another one?” Blake raised an eyebrow.

“Did you really have to pick my mother?” Weiss sighed.

It was only now did he realize how his actions might have looked like.

“N-No! I didn’t mean anything to it! I just wanted to help!” He defended immediately but his audience would have none of it.

“Should I be careful as well, Jaune?” Athena intoned teasingly to his and Pyrrha’s embarrassment.

“Don’t even think about approaching my wife.” Ghira growled angrily, to which Kali only laughed.

Thankfully, his parents were a lot milder in their reactions than what he expected.

“I have taught him too well.” Nicholas muttered with mixed feelings, while Juniper only shook her head.

“I don’t know how to feel about this. I really do not know how.”

Willow laughed awkwardly at that, eager to deflect the conversation now that she was more sober.

“L-Let that be the end of that.” She waved a hand before turning towards Winter, who looked at her with equal parts shame, anger, and worry.

It gave Willow a heavy feeling but for them to progress, she had to do this.

“Winter, I know you still have doubts, but my decision is made. I approve of Weiss’ choice, and should your father try to disown her, I will help her.”

“Mother.” Weiss gasped, her frown turning into a smile as for once after a very long time, Willow had done something right for her family.

They smiled at each other, mother and daughter connecting perhaps for the very fast time but the moment could not last for Headmistress Goodwitch clapped loudly.

Clap!

“Alright, enough!” Headmistress Glynda sighed harshly before pinching the bridge of her nose. “Let us move past this matter. The details of your wedding would be up to all of you, but just know that Beacon is willing to offer support as a show of unity.”

“It would have to be after the Vytal Festival though. We are already stretched as is in keeping the peace, adding a wedding on top of it would just be pushing us to the limit.” General Ironwood nodded.

“That reminds me, I expect all of you to excel during the festival’s tournament. Like it or not, Remnant now has its eyes on you, and it would be a bad look if you don’t perform well.” Headmistress Glynda added before pinning Jaune with her eyes. “Especially you, Mr. Arc. As the Hero of Vale and future husband of three wonderful women, the pressure upon you is immense. I hope you used these months we gave you to train and improve yourself.”

If he was the old Jaune then he would have quaked and shivered in fear, but Jaune has come a long way from someone who forged his transcripts to sneak into Beacon.

“Don’t worry, Professor, I won’t let you down!” He grinned, to which Headmistress Glynda smiled back.

“I like your confidence, but the competition will be tough. Though I suppose you being partnered with a regional champion puts things in your favor.”

Jaune froze, and his reaction was not lost on Headmistress Goodwitch.

“Is there a problem?”

His head slowly turned towards Pyrrha, and he watched as she winced back apologetically at him.

The first time he heard what she had to say was back in Argus. Jaune passed out then and there, and after that, Team JNPR had tried to think of solutions around it. Eventually, they decided to let it be and get their minds off of it even temporarily.

Recent events, however, have forced Jaune to remember its existence. And now that Headmistress Goodwitch was talking about the Vytal Tournament, there was no escaping it.

Pyrrha Nikos opened her mouth and said two words that would change their lives forever.

“I’m pregnant.”

ch8246

Gotta say wasn't expecting an arcadia reference. How much of the fic have your read? Did you stop after ch11 or are you up too current. The smut is pretty good while some story bits are okayish. Im mainly just waiting to see if Summer can mange to win against the blessing and stay faithful to tai. What do you think? As for the chapter itself it was a nice read! Love how weiss stood up for herself and the others. And how they also supported her. Surprised she didn't also say " and i also knelt infront of blake too!" But seeing as thats a more recent thing I can assume thats still a very new subject they need to talk about Honestly didn't expect the pregnancy, I find that most fics dont go down the baby route so much so seeing it here is very interesting. I wonder if the others are gonna get baby crazy at some point. Keep up the good work, it great to have you back! ( if nick somehow gets into a foursome with willow Juniper and Athena Id be laughing my ass off to that. But honestly, id like to see what would happen if qrow met up with willow.)
