"The Louvre" Analysis Now Tomorrow May 12
Added 2022-05-11 18:32:26 +0000 UTCLet me tell you about my day-- I'm laughing as I'm writing to keep from crying 😭😭😭 I woke up to a putrid smell from downstairs and water all over the floor... I mean everywhere. I quickly saw that the water was coming from underneath the refrigerator....and that the fridge had completely stopped working all together at some point during the night. Like...the lights were off and it wasn't running.
Now this fridge was here when we bought the house eight years ago. It's always worked very well. However, when I pulled it out this morning and closely inspected the back, I saw that it is from 1996. Y'all!!!! Why was my fridge an entire millennial????? Ughhhhhh.
All of this to say that I've spent all day looking for new a refrigerator and dealing with install and haul away and throwing out food and buying more food and cleaning up water and....I'm exhausted to say the least. Also, why are refrigerators so expensive????
Anyway, I'm sure I'll laugh about today's adventure one day. Today is not that day, though. "The Louvre" analysis will be tomorrow (unless another one of my geriatric appliances decides to die).
RIP- 1996 fridge. Hopefully the new one will last 26 years !

2022-05-12 20:46:54 +0000 UTCOh I'm well aware of that kind of trouble, we had to replace our fridge last year and ended up storing whatever food we could at a friends house. It was chaotic. I hope you don't have any more appliance problems!
