They do show the resistance fighters and how the fighters end up burning alive or jumping to their deaths after being thoroughly defeated by the Wehrmacht. It has always seemed to me that if the locals were down with the Holocaust then when the survivors all leave they are sort of doing what the perpetrators wanted i.e. no more Jews in Europe
