Hi!
So, what a year huh?
This week’s been a rollercoaster. The baby got sick and took my mind off things for a couple of days—nothing serious, mind you—but still, baby and fever is a combination you never want to see. She’s all better now, thankfully.
Despite that, I managed to fully script and render a new scene. This one was a bit challenging since it involved dialogue influenced by previous choices, so I had to scratch my head a bit to make everything flow in a way I was happy with. I might still reword some parts when I go over this release, but let’s see how it sits later.
Development is moving along, though this week I couldn’t pull off two full scenes. That said, I did get a head start on some future ones, which should save me time when their turn comes around. I saw a reel on IG the other day about the rule of thirds when working on something. You should feel good a third of the time, neutral another third, and kinda crappy the last third. If you feel good all the time, maybe you’re not pushing hard enough or have gotten complacent. If you feel bad all the time, you might be burned out. I guess this was my neutral week.
Sorry for the short post—it’s almost midnight, and I’m not the night owl I used to be. Plus, this red wine is taking its toll.
Hope you have a great weekend,
C.
