I’ve decided to start making at least one free post per month with a broader topic so all followers feel included.
First off, thanks so much for playing and following my work—it really means a lot to me. This whole experience is still pretty new. I usually keep a low profile online, so having so many people engaged with what I’m doing is kinda surreal.
Development for version 0.02 is going smoothly! Right now, I’m working on incorporating player choices, which makes scene development take a bit longer. This update will help me figure out the right balance—how much interaction is too much—while keeping it seamless and impactful.
I’m purposely not sharing render numbers or word count because I’m following the same framework I used for the first release, just a little more efficiently this time. Before launching, I was super nervous about how people would react. I’ve played a lot of VNs, studied storytelling, and tried to put my own spin on things, but actually bringing it all together is tough. I’ve got a ton of notes on my phone with random ideas. Seeing the reception so far makes me think I got a few things right, so I’m just gonna keep things steady and stick to the plan I had from the start.
I’ve taken a lot of feedback into account, and I’ll be implementing what I can. Once the update is ready, I’ll post a changelog so you’ll know what’s changed.
Keeping this one short since I go more in-depth with Patreon-only posts—I hope you understand.
