If violet were to say she killed Stephanie because she suggested they abandoned the student students, and that made Violet realize how bad of a person Stephanie really is and then Violet gave her backstory, being used as bait by Stephanie. I think that has a shot at convincing some people. It doesn’t paint Violet in a good light. But it’s basically entirely the truth and I’m sure would Garner some sympathy.
