Pathbuilder 2e Custom Packs

Hello all,

I just published v49 of the Pathbuilder 2e web app which  brings the capability to make Custom Packs.  These are files of custom items that other users can import into their own apps on both android and the web.  Custom Packs can contain any of the existing custom items, and also now custom feats, heritages and spells.  Next week I will attempt to add custom specials (eg a new barbarian instinct) and custom ancestries. I also intend to add interfaces for custom pets, familiars and eventually have a go at custom classes.

I've also added a range of new custom effects, like setting proficiency, adding innate and focus spells, adding resistances, and creating archetype casters.  It's now possible to create a custom archetype caster with feats for the basic, expert, master and breadth spellcasting options.

3rd Party content creators can then distribute the Custom Packs files as they wish, either emailed to friends on a casual level, or bundled with other files on places like drive-thru rpg.

I'm sure I'll need to add more custom effects to meet the needs of 3rd party content creators, and sometimes they might not match up to what they intended 100%, but hopefully this will be a way for people to get their 3rd party content into the app.  It also means that the app won't clog up with 3rd party material for people that don't want it. At the moment, I'm not planning to add any more 3rd party books directly into the app.

Android apps are able to import custom packs, but not create them at the moment. Rather than take twice as long programming the interfaces in twice, I want to plough ahead and get as much as I can done on the web version first, especially as I think that serious 3rd party content creators will be working on their computers.

As ever, thank you for your support.

Dave

Not sure as I've never seen them.

Would this work for adding in archtypes such as the ones made by Legendary Games? Or is that something coming later on?

I am looking to code up my custom homebrew class for one of my players, so I'm keen as mustard for you to implement the ability to do classes :D
