The USS equinox has a standard crew capacity of 78 people. Starfleets never been the best in combat scenarios as you've seen but there are certain moments in war time where they become innovative enough to survive. Paris is trained as a nurse theres no point in risking 2 healers in a unknown environment. Though if i was janeway i wouldve beamed the doctor over after the ship was cleared Fun fact: you can actually replicate new legs but i dont believe voyager has the tech as they are limited Remember Captain Ransom said they got pulled in by the care taker so the species mentioned are likely species that voyager luckily managed to avoid as there are thousands of stars systems voyager didnt explore to stay in a mostly straight line back home except for the few detours theyve had, USS Equinox wouldve gone down a different path since they are a smaller ship and have had that fast travel creature like captain ransom mentioned they never saw the borg so they were likely able to skip over most of the area of space they control or they are just so small and insignificant the borg ignored them. The USS Equinox wouldve likely been in the Delta Quadrant longer then USS Voyager has been since they are a smaller ship and cant travel as fast and Voyager already had knowledge that the Badlands(the places where Voyager got pulled from in the beta quadrant) had a dangerous reputation. Also Like the engineer Gilmore said around 27:21 she has a nephew around the same age as naomi(who looks 8 or 9 but is actually only around 4 or 5 lol) but then corrected herself to say he would be a teenager. 33:05 the doctor says, they wouldve had to abuse the creatures multiple times and 35:09 he states it wouldve taken 63 more injections to get home. And one full lifeform shaved 10,000 light years off that would be literal decades in normal travel. 24:38 PetaQ = Bitch in klingon Voyager would likely have need alot more sacrifice for it to work as well hence why captain ransom is so adamant to abandon voyager that and the obvious explanation of it being unethical. Yea i believe this episode was a inspiration for discoveries Spore Drive i could be wrong though Being confined to Quarters is basically the same as being confined to the brig in Voyagers situation since they have very limited options already, and being in the brig for however long voyager has to return home would be pure torture. Lol i knew would like the doctor reveal. He was deactivated to the equinox computer storage since he lost his mobile emitter. how fast do you expect someone to pull a trigger when they enemy is already waiting though true he shouldve called backup. :P I would likely turn out like Ransom if i was in charge of a shi and being stranded in the Delta Quadrant after losing half of my crew within the first week PTSD can do alot to a person and if you dont get help your screwed. Fun fact: There is a Lieutenant Ransom that is First officer in Lower Decks and hes a bit of narcissistic dick as well lol *types whole page*
