2024-07-25 00:26:21 +0000 UTCThe reason why people dont just hold down the laser and choose to shoot in bursts is cause the batteries will overheat on weapons if held down for to long. Like with modern day weapons where if you hold down the trigger to long theres a good chance itll jam or even break

2024-07-24 23:40:35 +0000 UTCStar trek always has episodes like this scattered throughout the stories. Expanding the history of human settled planets within the federation. When Enterprise first entered the Expanse we were told there are no human settlements that survived this far out. Zoomer and Gen Alpha have the problem or parents not carrying much and letting them do whatever they want :p. Being born in '98 i have the same issues as them only memorizing the stuff im passionate about but even then i still have to google to double check on occasion. (The "this new generation is slow comment" towards lil sis :p) Like i mentioned before most fantasy and sci-fi stories are based on real life events. This in particular is a mix of the wild west settlement and kicking out the natives and your own peoples history in our nation.
