Sly Romance

Something non mlp related for you today, eeyup. I really felt like drawing my favourite video game couple from my childhood :D Sly Cooper and Carmelita Fox. I adored their cute-ish interactions during the games, always giving clues to feelings for each other^^ The scenes where they talk, blush or even kiss are so sweet and I had to draw them, especially because they're kinda Anthro and look awesome! Like seriously, I love their designs.
This drawing took me quite some time actually when it came to sketching it to "perfection". At first, I chose to draw them with their designs from the 2nd game since it's my favourite. Additionally, in "Band of Thieves" they have the best drawings of them if you ask me, I don't like them in the 3rd and especially in the 4th game.
I went with drawing them with more curves and fur compared to the original style. Still, it got influenced by it with the thick dark lines and slight cell shadows.
Sadly, the drawing didn't become what I wanted it to be. I loved the sketch, had problems with Sly's hand for a long time though, but I actually wanted to colour it with copic markers. What can I say? i can't work with them. They have a way worse quality than the original ones, so I went with black and white, some grey-ish parts to have some differences between the different parts of the characters.
