Lovely Candywrapping

Hey guys^^

It is still pride month, right? So i thought I could draw something for it.
I felt like drawing the cutest couple in my opinion, two mares, lyra and BonBon, enjoying the shared warmth in a lovely heart embrace^^ They cuddle so sweetly and comfort each other, haaaa... so cute hehe :D

Seriously, I had a lot of fun working on this piece. I loved the sketch already when it was finished and I wanted to finish it. Colouring was the most enjoyable part, especially working with Lyra's colours, which fit together very well and which are easy and exciting to work with. The mane and tail somehow were tough, though XD Nevertheless, drawing Lyra was just so much fun to do having a lot of "layers" attached to it. BonBon's yellow was faced with some complications, but in the end it worked out well :) The slightly purple and blue bits mixed in made the colours blend perfectly if you ask me. But in the end, the background, the bed they're laying in, was the best part because of the colour blendings. Seriously, the light pink fits so well with the yellow-orange parts on the left and the dark purple on the right side, I just love this combination^^
Overall I really like how this one turned out and it somehow is an honour for me to show it to you, because it was meant to be something more than just a random LyraBon shipping pic.

With this drawing, i wanted to put up some kind of tribute for all the people, who aren't skinny/slim and maybe have a few pounds more on their hips, feeling unloved or something like that. With this drawing, i wanted to show, that everyone is beautiful and can find love, a partner that accepts and loves you for who you are and the way you are^^
