A Mother's Portrait

Hello everyone,

although it's not christmas yet, I can show you my christmas present for my mum, who would love to get herself a portrait :) She does not take looks on social media, so she will not see it, yet.

You know... I am SO proud of this piece and how it turned out, oh my... seriously, it's like I had a super lucky day when I fist started working on it and caught my mother directly, it's unbelievable for me. I like how I captured her main facial features and how I shaded her in general :)
From my very first human drawings, this seriously is an improvement and I REALLY hope I can keep it up.
Nevertheless, it killed my black pencils XD I had 3 1/2 black pencils and only one is left. Just to let you know, I worked on half a portrait after this one. You will see that one soon, maybe or just after christmas, we will see XD
But enough for now. I just hope you like it and enjoy seeing my Mommy in black and white :P
