:COMM: Sunset of Feelings

Hello everyone^^

Last but not least, we have one last commission to show for this time's commission round^^ It's for :icontchernobyl: and perhaps one of the most beautiful ones, at least when it comes to the emotions :)

They asked for a piece featuring Applejack and Rainbow Dash showing that they are in love in a way, being AppleDash by spending time together, if possible in a romantic way^^ What's special about this is the way Rainbow behaves: She uses her feathers or the tips of her wings to touch the other mare's cutie mark - that's a sign for her love, the way a pegasus pony shows their romantic interest in another pony^^ That's what the commissioner explained to me and I have to say that I really like the idea of it^^ I really do :)

I enjoyed working on this piece with a simpler shading since it had such a warm feeling to it and was good to work on in between.
I had a few challenging moments working on the colours of the sky, but they did turn out fitting for the environment to show it's late afternoon and the characters are sitting underneath the warm sunlight^^

I really hope you like this drawing and thanks again goes to the commissioner :D It's been a pleasure^^
