Hey everyone^^

Wow... this piece took me way longer than I expected it would, but more of that in a bit.
Due to one of the latest finished commissions, which featured an AppleDash shipping scene commissioned by :icontchernobyl: , I found out about the concept of "feathermarking". It's an idea portrayed in a fanfiction (which I honestly did not manage to read, yet... oh dear..) but I really liked this idea of pegasi "speaking" with their wing gestures :) It's a very personal thing for a pony and I wanted to do something with this concept in a picture with my favourite ship^^ Who would have guessed XD

There we go! Another SpitDash piece but featuring a small feathermarking aspect and oh boy... did I have problems with this picture at first, especially when it comes to the wings and their positioning, the poses in general. They actually were meant to be positioned in a different way, but it honestly looked crippled and...well, not that good and I didn't feel happy with it - which is why I actually wanted to delete this whole thing and start up, again at a later point.
Luckily, with the help of :iconsnoopystallion: and :iconmixdaponies: I was able to fix what's wrong and made it look decent. Thanks again for the advice~
I see now that I have to practice much more, especially wings.

After that, I did not really have an idea on which Background I should draw (yes, I had a loooot of doubts when it comes to this drawing) but after asking around and trial and error etc, this is the result and I can imagine that the two of them are about to jump off a cloud and soar through the clouds and sky together~

Enough said, after everything that I've been through with this one I'm AT LAST happy with the result. I did not expect it to take me that long but neither did I expect it to look any kind of decent in the end. I'm confident about it, now.
