Heya^^

Wow, this one has been waiting to be finished xD Remember the Artist gift commission I received from :iconniallofthe9ine: back in April? it's been this SpitDash picture:

The drawing you see here now, it's been the 2nd idea we had for this gift commission and I really wanted to finish it, anyways :D I worked on it whenever I didn't feel like working on something else and needed a distraction. SpitDash, as you know, does a good job with that ;) Here we go!

Rainbow Dash, who has to prove herself and her speed in a small 100 meter race is waiting for her turn on the start line when suddenly Spitfire acts a little loose and smacks her butt XD She intended to do so to make Dash start flying, instantly, who just started blushing very hard :P

I enjoyed working on this one as you probably can tell. Not only do I like the characters' expressions, but I also liked drawing Spitfire with just her shirt instead of her full drill sergeant outfit to show, that she as a relaxed side to her, especially on a warm, sunny day. The colours were fun to work with and the effects were enjoyable to do :P

I wanna thank the commissioner again for giving me the opportunity to create SpitDash art as a commission back then, it really motivated me, and for inspiring me to finish the 2nd piece, as well :D
