AP - Deer Colours

Hey guys,

yep, it's been a while since I've shown you a piece from my art portfolio, but I will not forget about it ;) There still are a few pieces to show you here and there in my stack so have a watercolour painting back from April!

This thingy is almost 4 months old and was one of the first tries with my new watercolour paper. I wanted to paint a typical animal portrait with extravagant but fitting colours, which uhm... is harder than I thought. Somehow I don't really get the watercolours right and I would have to practice that more and more if I want to create more pictures in that style.

However, although I'm not that good at it, I'm not too disappointed about how this one turned out. Looking back, I think I could have done better, now, but it was a start. The deer is supposed to show how even the most beautiful, peaceful things are not perfect and can have their flaws.
