Cartoon Kai

Hey guys^^

I'm trying out some "new" stuff here and there, continuing with a set of new "Cartoon People" since I want to practice humans, their anatomy, facial expressions and features, that make them unique. For example: When I draw a person, I want them to look exactly like a cartoon version of their IRL original and not like many different people that also carry a beard or glasses. Therefore, I started with this depiction of Kai, whom we know as :iconsnoopystallion: :D

This thing started as a sketch during my ride on the train while I was on my way to head to work. Since I was driving for 45 minutes, I found enough time to sketch out my ideas and this is the final result of another "train drawing" :D
I have to say... I'm absolutely pleased with this. Sure, like all my pieces it ain't perfect, but this time it truly feels like I captured him - Snoopy/Kai as a cartoon version of himself and not just anybody since I respected almost every single detail that makes him unique/an individual. I just feel proud that people who have seen this drawing immediately knew whom it shows^^

I gotta say: I messed up the shoes as they are still a thing for me to practice xD And the necklace actually is a shark toth and rather looks like a moon here, other parts are a little exxagerated but this is what makes a cartoon character, right?
