Hey everyone,

this drawing is something that just came up in my mind and it deals with a very serious topic that we all won't be able to avoid at least noticing in our daily lifes. You see, the problem of poor and rich as huge contrasts has increased in some areas and now that I get to drive through bigger parts of Berlin, I get to experience it more than in the area I live in.

While the poor ones sit underneath bridges, in tunnels or sleep in trains, the high society often acheives the goals of becoming richer with every step they do (over exaggerated here of course) and in these circles money gets passed around like nothing. Those who don't have the chance to be in these circles do have their own reasons for it: Some don't want to work, some can't efford it, others don't have a home or the strength to change it - it's tragic to be honest so donating at least a few cents I have over is something I'd do.

With this drawing I wanted to portrait stereotypic features of the mentioned parts of society while also criticizing them.
Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments, I'm looking forward to reading what you have in mind for it.

Yea in the U.S the problem is similar with Capitalism. The homeless or in poverty will try all they can to live off of food stamps while the top 1% thrive by complaining about their high taxes and justifying their theory of "trickle down" economics. Spending more money often gets them more money, with ads and various things they can purchase to make them more famous, we don't have that choice and have to scrape off every penny we can muster to survive in comparison to their billions. This is a very relatable topic for alot of us, great job on this Lupi!

True. Many people refuse to work or support our system in any way and yet others don't see another chance than to collect donations at our trains or wherever they can. But it's sad to hear that it's even a bigger problem where you live. Oh dear... I'm glad you like the picture though, thank you very much!

From what my cousin (who also lives in Germany) has told me that being homeless in Germany is more like a “choice” than because of the government and economy. I really like the picture and to me it’s shows more what’s it’s like in the United States than In Europe. In the US the wealthy are the main cause of our problems as they profit off of the people’s misery.
